Alexander leaned backwards in his chair. He needed a break after the terror of the last few months. Still, life had never been better. He looked at the picture he always kept near him. "I know you're watching out for me, sis. Where ever you are."

The council was in session. Edward Black banged his fist on the table. "No! The moratorium remains in place."

Warlock Devian stood up. "I am afraid that it is out of our hands."

"What do you mean, Eldar?" Dean Gray snorted. "Alaitoc is an infected zone. You yourself bought forward the measure that locked it away."

"Yes, but... you left the people in there! Soul crystals, factories." The Eldar stood tall.

"Under your suggestion. And it's not our fault that you decided to have all the Eldar live there." Edmund leaned forward in his chair. "Don't make your trouble ours."

"If that is the will of the council." Devian muttered.

The sound of a chair toppling over filled the room. "It does not matter what the council demands. This is a security matter, and as such my domain." Charles Strike banged the table.

In the ruined city of Alaitoc, poisonous gases filled the air. They seemed to move with an almost human intellect, searching for something...

Sara had fallen asleep, clutching her sword in both hands. She was reclined in her office chair, and had apparently worn herself out fighting her immaginary demons. The chair was turned to overlook the splendor of Resi City, the ground illuminated by so many lights that it represented a sea of gold, strangely symbolic of the city's true essence. However, these things have nothing to do with Sara, for she is in her own world now. A world of pure imagination, where she is free to do as she wishes without having her father come after her in a Raven Unit.

She was throughly enjoying herself, dreaming of such frivolous things as holding hands with her departed Xandi, and all the wonderful times she spent with him at Myth U. All of a sudden, in the middle of a scene where the two of them walked on a lovely beach, the sky grew dark and began to cloud over, something that had never happened before. A mysterious "hole" opened in mid-air in front of her, and out of that hole began to climb a person, a girl.

((This is Alex's sister, who you can have relay messages about Rasputin, Alex, or the underworld to Sara if you'd like. Or she could just taunt Sara and leave, your choice. :P ))

Rachel didn't know what was happening. There had been a moment of complete... peace, and then she had been here. "Um, where am I?" She looked down. "Oh my... I can see through myself!"

"Ummm, you're in my head, I think..." said Sara, who then looked around frantically as the scene around her began to melt away, including Xander.
"NO! WAIT! COME BACK!"
She reached out for his fingertips, but they slowly dissapated in her grasp. Sara, still holding out her hand, began to weep.
"I.... I lost him... again..."

"Your head?" She looked on dispassionately. "You can't catch him, you know. He has elsewhere to be." She floated closer. "Sara Resi, right?"

Sara turned and looked at the spectre of the girl.
"Yes... that's me, but who are you? What do you want here?"

"Me? I was someone." Rachel sighed. "I was Princess Rachel Black."

"You... were? What do you mean? You look like someone to me! Waitaminute, you're the sister of Alex, aren't you?"

"I was the sister of Alexander. Now, I am but a spirit." Rachel made a face. "And I'm stuck in here."

"I could get you a new body," Sara says, contemplating the idea, "with very little effort, actually. Y'see, the hard part would be getting your mind data into it. It would take weeks of me being asleep for us to isolate the part of my mind that contained you and extract your data. I 'spose I could do that, but it would obviously be exceptionally risky. But now that we have those herbs...

"I'm not sure. All I know is, someone very evil is loose." Rachel sighed again. "You can't get me a new body. That would require my old body, which was destroyed. They didn't bury it. It didn't exist to be buried." Rachel opened a book from the shelf. "So, that guy was Xander, was he? Ex-boyfriend?"

"Well, you asked if I could get you a body, not your old one. As for Xandi, that's... none of your business."

"Tsk. If I was a mean ghost, I'd say something like 'He waits for you to join him' or something." She giggled. "And I don't trust you not to put me in a man's body."

"Awww... c'mon!" Sara said with a smile, "A man's body would be better than being dead, after all. So, who's this 'he' anyway? I mean, we killed rasputin, it can't be him!"

Rachel smiled. "I have no idea. Really. All I know is that whatever it is, its going for Soul Crystals."

She then shot a beam from her arm directly at Rachel.
"You're forgetting that not only am I your opponent," Sara said, deviously, "I am also the battlefeild. Everything inside my mind is ultimately my bitch."

Rachel said apologetically, "I'm sorry, Sara. But I am immortal, and will stay strong, while you will tire. Please, do as I request." She concentrated harder, becoming diffuse in order to avoid the blast. "Any blasts you fire will harm us both." The cloud surrounded Sara and began to enter her...

The figure started to walk over to Kelly and she decloaked and says to her "Captin. The Elites are disbanding. I sugjest you keep your armor though. Also I will come when the time is right." With that the figure started walking off. "Also your brothers didn't even know they were related to you," the figure says as she disaperes into a mist

Dekker stood over the broken body of his opponent, his survival knife's blade crimson with his blood. The traitor Inquisitor lay in a pool of his own blood, crimson fluid dripping from a slash across his now-pale throat. His battered helmet lay nearby, knocked from his head by a powerful palm strike to the chin from Dekker. Dekker now sported a long gash across his right arm, blood trickling down his arm and off of his hand. It was the price he paid to land that palm strike, the rest was easy. He wiped the blade of his knife across his right pant leg, before sliding the wicked-looking blade back into its sheath. Dekker picked the Inquisitor's sword up from the earth where it had fallen. "The Inquisition will want this back." He says to himself as he begins to walk away from the building.

A ghostly claping filled the air behind Dekker.

The noise doesn't phase him. "Friend or foe?" He says without turing around.

Slowly a secton of a tree brcomes disfigured as if being bended and a figure emerged from a cloak. She brushed her navy hair out of her face and says "The demon and that traitor."

Alexander and Kelly were sitting in his room. Kelly looked at him. "Is something wrong?"

"Hmm? Yes. Something strange is happening in Alaitoc. The city has been evacuated."

"Sounds interesting." Kelly kissed the top of his head.

"What do... oh no." Alexander's face became a rictus of horror.

"Come on. It will be fun!" Kelly kissed him again.

"I'm not going. And you're not either. Kiss me all you want, I'm not going anywhere."

Kelly smiled and whispered into his ear. Alexander suddenly became very interested.

The intercom buzzes, and Dawn Kradii responds, "Right, we've got a deal."
Victorious shouts can be heard coming from the directions of Dawn's office after she shuts the intercom off.
"That's what I love about power-hungry people," Sara said with a smile, "They're surprisingly easy to control. The only bad thing is I may have to take my power back by holding her at the point of my plasma arm, but that'll just make it all more interesting, won't it?"
Sara then walks out the door of her office towards the roof of Resi Tower, where a spaceplane awaits.

As the NP Pulsar slwoly began to transform into a jet is activated it's cloak and began to fallow Kelly via nural implant

The spaceplane struck the ground, sliding a good three miles before finally coming to a halt. An enormous steaming trench lay behind it.
"Now THAT's what I call fun!"

The spaceplane had landed dangerously near the mountains of Roania. And the creatures which lived there were gathering...

"Kelly I am not taking the blame for any damage you do this time!" Dekker says knowing he can't stop her when she makes up her mind

"I wouldn't dream of asking you to, Dek." Kelly said. Alexander suddenly stopped the speeder.

"Shh. Keep quiet, and they won't notice us."

"What? What won't notice us?" Kelly looked around. She heard a loud noise.

The two of them looked ouside. A face appeared in the snow....

Suddenly a missile streakeedd towards the wolf blowing it apart in a shower of blood and gore. About 200 meters away a NP Pulsar was hovering and had a single smoking missile tub.

"What'd I tell you?" Kelly asked, amused. Alexander just stared blankly as she opened the roof and fired a flare.

"And this is why I hate this job," Dekker says as he begens looking at the image of the plusar "Um.... that isn't a Phalanix model."

Alexander and Kelly looked at eachother. "Well, whoever it was saved us from being eaten."

"Not... exactly." Alexander said, slowly.

"What is it now?"

"Well, you know how wolves hunt in packs?"

The NP Pulsar quickly transforms into Battloid mode and cocks it's twin gun pods.

"I think what just saved us might kill us," Dekker says "Been nice knowing you bitch."

((Earlier Kelly screwed with his systems))

"Wait a second..." Alexander rummaged around for a few minutes and pulled out a ring.

"What? What is that going to do?" Kelly asked.

"Well, first..." He shoots Dekker with it. "It's going to allow me to concentrate, and also keep you from feeling pain if we do get killed."

And then he shoots an ion beam at the Battloid. "And second, it's going to put an end to that nuisance."

"Stop you dumb ass. That is a New Phalanix Pulsar XV. It was just made. And I know the pilot's AI personely," Dekker says as the bttloid jumps into the air and lands beside Kelly and Alexander

"Kelly? May I rip your ai to pieces?"

"Um, I don't think so, no."

"Pity."

"Hey would you two rather live or die. I controll this situation now," Dekker says with a evil laugh "God damn it Kelly. you programed that personality into me!"
A voice booms from a speaker in the NP Pulsar "So um you want a ride or do I leave you here?"

"A ride would be nice, yes." Alexander said.

"Dekker? How would you like to be reprogrammed into a woman? I'll find a way." Kelly said.

"You are SO lucky I can not control the armor," Dekker says
The Pulsar starts to shift again into Hybrid mode

Alexander's own AI picked out various weakpoints on board the pulsar. "Right. I don't know who you are, but I am Prince Alexander Tyral Black, of the Principality of Roania. Any attacks on my person would be an act of war."

"Just shut up and get on," the voice says

Alexander and Kelly jumped on. Behind them, several more of the Dire wolves leapt out and howled, trying to get to them.

Suddenly a Gunpod erupted in 10cm ammo slaughtering the Dire Wolves one by one. At the same time the other hand lifts up quickly protecting Alexander and Kelly

"Thanks. Who are you?" Alexander asked.

"Can't say or it equales death for us all," the voice says

"Right." Alexander looked at her. "And why are you here?"

"That's none of your business. How like a man. Asking her questions after she saved both our lives." Kelly snorted.

"And the fact that an AI saved your life is even more embaresing," the voice says

"Yeah... what?" Alexander and Kelly said together.

"Yup I'm a AI. Actualy Dekker's sister AI," the voice says with a laugh "And I'm the pilot," Another voice says

Maker made two Dekkers? NOOOOO!Alexander's AI moaned.

"Well, pleased to meet you. What does bring you to Roania?" Alexander asked politely. Kelly moved next to him.

"The Captin. And I heard that you pathetic AI," Alice, Dekker's sister says

Pathetic? I have more processing power in one chip than you do in that entire suit!

"What about me?" Kelly asked. Alexander looked slightly nervous.

"I have the power of 15 NP Carriers. Which are move powerful than the basic Phalanix Super Carrier," Alice says. "Anyways she may be a rebel target," the pilot says

I'll take you on any day!

Alexander winces. "My AI has been spending too much time near Dekker."

Kelly looked concerned. "There are still rebels?"

"Whether there are or are not is no concern. She is safer in Roania. And if she's going with you, regardless of the fact that hundreds of soldiers stand by to guard her, then so am I."

"After we deal with Alaitoc, of course." Kelly smiled. Alexander shrank back.

"Her bro...I mean her friend says that she is still a target," the pilot says

((Damn. I've just been informed I have to leave to prepare for my trip. I'll see if I can get on this afternoon, but I doubt it. If not, c'ya monday.))

"I'm sorry, Alex. If I have to go, then I have to go. Don't worry. I'l be back."

"She can stay here. Her broth... I mean her friend is busy at the moment," the pilot says

The creatures run off, whimpering. Don't get excited. They generally hunt in packs of 10.
