Actually it is a mix of cuisers and destroyers, but I think my royalty for both was about the same I have so many midium sized surface ships right now... (I have had a few 'accidents' involving overly heavily armed pirates...) Note: I'm exstreamly crusier/destroyer heavy at the moment...but considering that I need to patrol a vast sea of islands and a newly invaded coast with a nation of pirates nearby, well I tend to need massive numbers of something, Perhaps I should have bought more Frigates but...well I like armor...

edit:completely forgot how much I owe you....6.0915 Billion USD Hell my bank account is got enough...

My pop is nearly a billion, and taxes are high, We'll survive.

My navy tends to be heavy on Frigates and Corvettes, the advantage with this is dispersal of weaponry, if one or two are sunk, the rest can carry on, if a few big cruisers have one of themselves sunk, the effect is far greater than having a larger number of weaker ships in a much larger flottilla.

plus theres more around to ambush and surround the enemy. A war of manouver is particuarly effectous at sea.

IC: Several ship building firms in both the Dual Duchy of Alcona and Hubris and the Great nation of Vrak have licences to build such equipment. Due to the recent problems in Calarca all ship building will be licenced through Alcona and Hubris for the benifit of All customers.
