8 GM Destroyers, cheapest price

Is this the same Powerful Armies that is threatening and attacking Reploid Productions? If so, then we must regretfully inform you that service is refused in this matter. We will not conciously provide arms for terrorist actions.

If the 2 are one and the same, then we will only sell arms if apologies are made to RP and reparations paid in full.

We'd like to place an order for the following ships:

50 Super Dvora Mk II Patrol Boats @ 4 mil each = $200M
20 Shaldog Mk II Patrol Boats @ 4.5 mil each = $90M
2 Helicpoter Enabled Corvettes @ 150 mil each = $300M
2 Guided Missile Enabled Corvettes @185 mil each = $370M

It should all total out to $960 mil. I can wire you the money upon confirmation that you received the order.

Wow youve certainly gone to a lotta trouble. Save reading through 13 pages. I'll say im interested. Naval supiriority is important in my region
16-05-2003, 19:32
OK i certainly jope you have edited all the new verisons into the firs thread because thats what i'll be perusing.
16-05-2003, 19:45
After this i dont think i'll be spending anymore this year
We will take
2 GM Cruiser (16-missile array, Helicopter-enabled)
4 FD Destroyer (anti-submarine or anti-air, 24-missile VLS array) 2 anti air and 2 anti sub.
4 GM Frigate (Guided-missile, 16-missile array, Helicopter-enabled)
6 Fast Attack Missile Boat (called FAMB, AKA "Nirit"),
We'll also take 2 Dolphins and 2 of those Troop transports.

Im would prefer a tad more reliance on shells than missles because of ABM tech.

So if there a choice to be made i choose the guns instead of the missles

PHEW now i can go to bed.

In market for naval technology...FAMB specifically...large stock of assault rifles would also be appreciated (US M-16A2 or M-4A1...Absolutely NO soviet weapons technology). Hook me up with a Switchblade when you roll it out.

Get back to me...ready to wire the cash...de Wit

6 X FD Destroyer (anti-air, 24 missile VLS array)@ 260M/unit= 1.56B
1 X GM Cruiser (127-missile array)@ 1.2B/unit= 1.2B

I took the liberty of assuming that you wanted the high-cap VLS arrays for the GM ships as available, as these have more compact and modular systems elsewhere, if there is a problem with this then I will adjust the order.

1 X Heavy Bombardment Cruiser (16-missile array, 2 double batt.)@ $1.1bn/unit= $1.1bn
2 X FD Destroyer (anti-submarine, 24-missile VLS array)@ $260M/unit= $520M
2 X GM Destroyer (guided-missile, 96-missile VLS array)@ $940M/unit= $1.88bn
2 X Corvette (Guided-missile, 8-missile array) @ $185M/unit= $370M
5 X Shaldag Mk II Patrol Boat@ $4.5M/unit= $22.5M
10 X Super Dvora Mk II Patrol Boat@ $4M/unit= $40M

Now, as for the Frigate, I will happily provide it with little more than its engines, hull, and electronics systems. This will mean about $145M PER unit or with 3 Frigates, (stripped down) it should be $440M.

So the total price is $4.37 Billion. There are no extra charges and the price is somewhat reduced as we removed the smaller guns (.50 cal, 3in, and intermediates) from the big ships and many of the support systems for those guns, saving us a good deal of money.

Without helicopters you have about 50-70 feet are opened up on the larger ships. To the aft section of the ships, with an integral load bearing capability of about 100tons (reinforced to bear the weight of the landing pad, equipment, helicopters and supplies for them all.

We greatly appreciate your business and are repentant for the delays that were suffered. I hope that you are satisfied with what you receive. The ships have already set off so all that remains is your final approval of the sale.

Quite satisfied, thank you. The money has been wired to you. The 100 tons of free weight is excellent, as either a pair of light to medium Mobile Armor, or a single heavy or assault Armor can be transported with the space. We can understand the delay, and hold no hard feelings.

Western Asia, did you receive our telegram order a few weeks back? Is the order being processed?
Kind regards, Minister of Defence.
21-05-2003, 18:09
The Nation of Interrobang is interested in purchasing the following:

20 Shaldags ($90m)
3 GM cruisers (16-missile model, $720m)
2 GM cruisers (64-missile model, $1.72b)
3 GM destroyers (24-missile model, $770m)
2 GM frigates (80-missile model, $1.8b)

for a combined total of:

$5,110,000,000 ($5.11 billion)
21-05-2003, 18:17
The Republic of Maritime, in conjunction with the Coalition of Dunces Defense Force would like to place an order for 35 vessels:
25 Shaldag Mk II Patrol Boats @ 4.5 million =$112,500,000
5 Nirit Fast Attack Missle Boats @ 130 Million = $650,000,000
5 Helicopter Enabled Corvettes @ 150 Million =$750,000,000
plus, .50 calibre machine guns and Mini typhoons for each of the Shaldags and Nirits = $1,485,000
Total (if my math is correct, lets hope it is) = 1,512,500,000
any questions as to where the money is coming from, I would be happy to provide the telegram from the United Socialist States of Pana Suarte that granted Maritime $5 Billion for military growth purposes. Maritime will wire half of the total as soon as the order is confirmed and the other half upon delivery of the vessels. The CUDF is greatly impressed with your inventory and looks forward to doing further business with you in the future. Until then I am,
Respectfully Yours,

The People's Republic of Mega Tau
Good day to you, we wish to purchase the following items from you:

Purchase Order:

1x $860M GM Cruiser (64-missile array, Helicopter-enabled)
1x $260M FD Destroyer (anti-submarine, 24-missile VLS array)
Total: $1 120 billion

Thank You.

Yea. Sorry about the delay, I haven't had any of the last two weekends to myself...this one isn't good either and neither is the next. I just organized my navy on paper today and the specs for some new ships (my month-long awaited carriers among them) last week. Sorry to gripe, now for the part you DO want to hear:
IC:
Consider it sold at that price. The costs of equipping and of the 4 Seahawks (full load) are waived for a research partner that I've kept waiting.

OOC: Cruisers, Destroyers, Frigates...hell, all of my ships have air defense systems. The ships use a wireless intranet system that coordinates and shares information on targets. This allows the ships to throw up a much better range of defenses.

All ships ordered up to now are to be considered sent. Money issues will be dealt with when I have the time.
25-05-2003, 06:55
The Confederacy of Ancient Terra is extremely interested in your large vessels, but we regret to inform you that we lack the funding currently.

However, for coastal defense we'd like to purchase 12 "Shaldag Mk II" Patrol Boats with manual Browning .50 cal "Ma Duce" machine guns on each of them.

Total price:

12x4,517,000=54,204,000 Dollars.

The Money will be wired upon confirmation.

OOC: Oh, for reference: $4mil is added to each ship that I sell to cover the cost of basic ammo for the small/med guns and other small junk. Add that to all ships corvette and above. I'm drunk, so please just add that into your supposed prices.

Ok, that being said, Corvettes carry one chopper, everything above (except SBV and maybe HBC) carry 2 choppers (blackhawks). The normal price is about 11.5 or 12 a blackhawk. Normal load is 1/ship, full is all the helis that can be carried.

I would like more information on the $1.2 Bn per GM Cruiser (127-missile array, Helicopter-Enabled).

• How many helicopters can this cruiser carry?
• What helicopters do you sell and what are their stats, e.g. speed, armament, passengers, etc.?
• How much extra is the MTHEL system?
• Are the 127 missiles included?
• Is the ammunition for the cannons included?
26-05-2003, 00:14
I would like to purchase 12 of your Shaldag patrol boats and 4 Nirit class as well, all of which to be outfitted with 3 additional STANAG-compatable mounts capable of mounting M2HB-QCB or M-134 Miniguns. also we would like to have additional armor added to these vessels, as they will be used for antipiracy work. also, we are looking for partners for development of a diesel-electric submarine class suitable for defensive uses. Also we would like to discuss license production of your smaller designs.

1) It can carry 2, that is laid out in the specs for the ships at the front.

2) I normally sell H-60s (Blackhawk-line) or H-53s (Sea Stallion/Pavelow line). Other helis can also be purchased, such as SuperCobras. If you need/want some more advanced land-attack helis for ship-launch then I'd suggest looking at Klamath's Helis. Link (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31132&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0).

3) Look at my announcements thread:
http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20024&highlight=MTHEL
It has a description of the system and the costs.

4) No, the 127 missiles are not included. 4 ASROCs, 4 SAM, and 4 Tactical Tomahawks (3/4 range of normal) might be included for an additional 4 million (higely discounted prices). We can also sell you these weapons in any quantities desired for decent rates.

5) An initial load of ammo for all small and medium guns (up to 5in, not counting 155mm, 6in, or larger calibers). MLRS systems come preloaded and with one-half load refills.

We already produce the Dophin-class Diesel-electric (fuel cell) attack sub. Do a search for it under my authorship or move a few pages back for my explaination of it to Teritora.

If you can afford those ships then you will be allowed to purchase them (ok).

As for additional armoring, that will run you about 3 million per Shaldag and 10 million per Nirit.

Licensing is not currently done although we will happily discuss the matter further. These ships require high-precision and very expensive equipment. And as each is loaded with very high-tech systems, you would have to still purchase most of these systems from our vendors for a good while.

Omnimperia has returned to do some more business...

We will be launching our new stealth carrier in a few years. Along with the trimarans recently purchased from you, it will form the core of our first naval battle group. We are interested in outfitting the carrier with a MTHEL system. Could you do the job? (More details to be discussed when it's launched.)

Omni,
Indeed, it is greatly possible to do what you want. (OOC: just look at my link above, it has the layout for various MTHEL systems until I can transfer it to the primary post in this thread)

We are producing semistealth carriers already (ooc: also at that link...) but we have no compunction against selling you the MTHEL for your own use.
26-05-2003, 02:00
I believe the adjusted prices for our order will be $90 million for the Shaldag patrol boats, and 560 million for the nirits? I will have the money transferred in six payments fia the method of your choice. My yards are capable of constructing up to frigate-sized vessels, and we are upgrading our industries with the ability to work with advanced materials such as carbon-fibers, as well as CNC metalworking technology. We would however need to import the electronic suites, as our industries are lagging in that field.

That's a sweet looking aircraft carrier that you have, Omniperia.
That's what the U.S. Navy is trying to aim for. They want to make their aircraft carrier more agile and mobile and not as exposed as the current ones are. That looks a lot like the European aircraft carriers of today.
It looks like a futuristic version of my nation's aircraft carrier.

Good day.
(If you wonder; yes, we are related to the people of Beth Gellert. We are those who chose to remain behind during the move away from the Indian ocean.. as such we require quick deployment of a significant naval patrol capability.)

We wish to order the following from your proven line-

Two (2) Nirit

One (1) Corvette- Helicopter enabled

One (1) Corvette- GM

We believe the face-value to be $595 million (just shy of the entire initial naval budget) and await the full price and confirmation of the order.

Notes:
2 of those Troop transports…
…Im would prefer a tad more reliance on shells than missles because of ABM tech…
So if there a choice to be made i choose the guns instead of the missles…
The FTTs will be out shortly, but aren’t yet (I’ve got a few specs to hammer down).

As for missiles, all reloads get 15% off. You can get AA guns but they won’t do sh!t against ASMs or modern aircraft. And ABM tech isn’t very focused against small missiles, more ballistic rockets like MLRS rockets and IRBMs like SCUDs.

In market for naval technology...FAMB specifically...large stock of assault rifles would also be appreciated (US M-16A2 or M-4A1...Absolutely NO soviet weapons technology). Hook me up with a Switchblade when you roll it out.

"FUCK YOU" Just kidding, De Wit. Sure thing. Since the Rifles are already sold and transferred and the Switchblade is not yet available, I’ll just hook you up with 4 FAMBs….cya ‘round….it’s part of my intra-regional military aid package.

Keoii would be interested in purchasing 50 Super Dvora Mk II Patrol Boats and 10 Fast Attack Missile Boats with Vulcan Planks anti-missile and anti-aircraft guns.

Greater Israeli Naval Yards no longer uses the Vulcan CIWS system on the FAMB-series or on its Aircraft Carriers and the transition is being made on many other ship classes as well. Instead, we use the Millenium Gun Multiple Target Weapons System (MTWS). This system has improved target locationing and targeting systems and greater flexability in target types.

The system can be used both defensively against ASMs and dually as a defensive/offensive weapon against small craft, ground targets, other ships, and some low-flying aircraft such as helicopters. The actual adjustments needed for your order will be dealt with when the order is formally processed.

I would like to order:

20 helicopter enabled Corvettes. (cost: 3 billion.)
8 helicopter enabled FD Destroyers. Half anti-sub, half anti-air. (cost: 1.76 billion)

Total cost 4.76 billion. Money will be wired upon confirmation of order. I am assuming each ship comes with a Blackhawk helicopter?
Western Asia
07-06-2003, 05:41
Helicopters come separate, but with them come resupply gear and replacements for commonly exhausted parts for basically no extra cost.

Each corvette bears 1 heli and ships larger than that tend to bear 2. HBCs only bear 1 and SBVs bear none. Carriers vary greatly.
07-06-2003, 05:49
So if I want Blackhawk helicopters for each do I have to pay extra? Its not a problem if I do, just wondering.
Western Asia
07-06-2003, 10:14
Yes, but you get to choose the types/numbers as you want:

--Basic (utility) Blackhawks (troop transport for about 8-12): ~11mil

--Special Operations Capable (SOC) Blackhawk (Same as BB, but with many Pavehawk improvements for limited SO support capabilities): ~12mil

--LAMPS Seahawk (ASW-capable, can bear ASMs, can also do CSAR and slightly limited troop transportation): ~12mil

--Pavehawk (Special Operations Extended Range transport craft, door guns, advanced ground-following avionics, dampened IR and audio signature): ~12.5mil

--Blackhawk DAPs (Armed Blackhawks, with virtually the armament of an Apache (Pylons can bear 2 weapons pods each, and under-nose gun is the same as on Apache) but with added Troop transport capabilities...4 can be transported as 1-2 extra crew are required for the manning of door guns, also advanced avionics as in the Pavehawk): ~13.5mil

We also sell SuperCobra attack helis, H-53 variants (Pave Low, Sea Stallion, Super Stallion), and other variants (Sea Dragons, etc).

As a note, the "standard" or "light" load is 1 Blackhawk-type heli/ship that can bear it. A "full" load is as many blackhawk type helis as can be carried. Also, due to the massive size of the H-53 series of helicopters, only 1 can be really launched and maintained from non-carriers at a time.

Okay, with the Destroyers, (assuming they take 2 choppers each, correct me if wrong), I'll have Blackhawk DAPs, cost of 216 million. For the Corvettes, I'll have Pavehawks, cost of 250 million(for 20). Total cost 466 million.

I would like to purchase a 100 ship fleet from your manufacturing company. My deposit shall be hefty and paid in full upon arrival of the ships, their crews(yours) will be dismissed to return to you after the deposit clears(this way you can take the ships back home if payment fails to meet ends.) The fleet shall consist of the following:

5 Carriers with Laser attachment -------------------------------- \$ 6 Bn
20 lesser GM Destroyers ----------------------- $13 Bn
25 FD Destroyers (10 anti-missile, 15 anti-submarine) ------------------------------- $6.5 Bn
20 ASW Frigates ---------------- $ 4.76 Bn

Total ------ $ 30.26 Bn(maybe a little off by lasers)

This total is most of my country's funds(our total current standing being slightly beyond $54 Bn) and I will be careful with such a deposit. However, if this transaction runs well you can expect to see future dealings with you in large sums to follow. Our area of the earth is rich in mineral deposits causing tremendous need for trade and wealth, but local gases are quite deadly and kill many of our work force unfortunately. I shall expect a reply within the next 24 hours time.

-The Office of Ken Hitache Miore
-Dominion Of Maledictus Estate

A few questions/comments are to be asked/stated:
1) Of the 100 ships, what are the other 30 ships to be?
2) The MTHEL system is currently not being sold on our carriers, although special cases can be accomodated,
3) Our carriers are more than 1billion each…especially with the MTHEL system included,
4) You are not specific enough about the ships, please use the guide and pricing blanks provided.

Thank you.

…………
I believe the adjusted prices for our order will be $90 million for the Shaldag patrol boats, and 560 million for the nirits? I will have the money transferred in six payments fia the method of your choice. My yards are capable of constructing up to frigate-sized vessels, and we are upgrading our industries with the ability to work with advanced materials such as carbon-fibers, as well as CNC metalworking technology. We would however need to import the electronic suites, as our industries are lagging in that field.

I would like to place a request for the purchase of 50 Heavy Bombardment Vessels as well as 20 Corvettes. Do you have any trained mercinaries for sale as well? telegram me please
Ummm, you might have enough to purchase the corvettes, but that would probably sink your military budget....

Allow me to suggest a corvette, a FAMB or two, and some patrol boats....those should give you a strong starting force.

Sounds good the Region of Reinland has plenty for that. When may I wire the money?

The Monte Castellan Naval Attack Force wishes to purchase 4 FD Destroyers, however we are unsure of the additional options available for these ships. Please could you inform us either via thread or telegram.

Thank you

Admiral Henderson, MCNAF

Sorry for the delay, but the following are your options in terms of FD Destroyers (segregated by missile capacity):

X FD Destroyer (anti-submarine, 16-missile VLS array)@ $220M/unit=
X FD Destroyer (anti-air, 16-missile VLS array)@ $220M/unit=

X FD Destroyer (anti-submarine, 24-missile VLS array)@ $260M/unit=
X FD Destroyer (anti-air, 24-missile VLS array)@ $260M/unit=

-- Fleet-defense Destroyers are either a(n) a) AA-equipped vessels with additional SA equiment, OR b) Standard (counter-submarine) configuration, OR c) ABM configuration,*
* The AA/ABM versions have, in addition to the standard Destroyer defenses, additional AA capabilities in the form of SAM and AA gun batteries (AA version) OR Arrow or MTHEL (Mobile Tactical High-Energy Laser) ABM batteries (ABM version) with accompanying systems.

2 SAM (18 missiles) or 2 MTHEL (2 targeting stands with power source) or 1 Arrow (6 missiles) battery is in each sub-category. A mix is possible. Most vessels come with 2-4 AA gun batteries. The ships have extra Sea Sparrow and Rim-67 missiles against a variety of targets.

We wish you the best in your decision-making process.

EVEN though it was not a sale, we will still give you the extra ships:

Helicopter Issues
Please note the following about helicopters
GM Cruisers, GM and ASW Frigates, and GM and FD Destroyers are all capable of supporting 2 helicopters.
HBCs and Heli Corvettes are each capable of supporting 1 helicopter.
SBVs and ships smaller than a corvette are not capable of supporting any helicopters.
Carriers and SOCS each have their capacities specified in their descriptions.

A FULL load of helicopters (all LAMPS Seahawks) will be assigned and charged for any order where the preference of the purchasing nation and/or company is not made clear.

A "light" load may be requested, which will include 1 helicopter per ship capable of bearing helicopters. Again, any helicopters referred to in general will likely be taken as meaning LAMPS Seahawks. LAMPS Seahawks are capable of both ASW and CSAR operations at sea and are very capable aircraft in their own right.

Also, due to the massive size of the H-53 series of helicopters, only 1 can be really launched and maintained from non-carriers (SOCS and Amphibious Assault platforms are counted as carriers)at a time. In addition to our offering of basic Blackhawks as appears below, we also sell SuperCobra attack helis, H-53 variants (Pave Low, Sea Stallion, Super Stallion), and other variants (Sea Dragons, etc). Prices will be provided upon inquiry, although a normal H-53 helicopter will cost somewhere in the range of $25M.
Some Basic Blackhawk Models Offered

--Basic Blackhawks (troop transport for 10-12, with crew of 3 and one door gun): ~11mil

--LAMPS Seahawk (ASW-capable, can bear ASMs, can also do CSAR and slightly limited troop transportation (6, 4 if stretcher loaded; crew of 4-5, like Basics but with specialist(s) in either ASW(BB+1) or CSAR operations(BB+2)): ~12mil

--Pavehawk (Special Operations Extended Range transport craft, door guns, advanced ground-following avionics, dampened IR and audio signature): ~12.5mil

--Blackhawk DAPs (Armed Blackhawks, with virtually the armament of an Apache (Pylons can bear 2 weapons pods each. Under-nose gun is the same as on Apache) but with added Troop transport capabilities. 4 can be transported as 1-2 extra crew are required for the manning of door guns, also advanced avionics as in the Pavehawk): ~13.5mil

Omz....wow.

I think that I'm going to limit you to a fraction of that at a time, but you could buy it over a longer time.....I'll see when I'm finished filling the other orders.

GENERAL NOTE
I will be closing this storefront to further sales for a week...in a week (on the 19th), because I'm going out of town. New orders can be placed, but they will not receive any special discounts or free ships.

Hopefully I'll be able to open a ground systems sales thread by then...that will be opened the moment I return. Thanks for your continued patience, most orders will be finished tonight. (Bringing me up to date for the first time in probably 2 months....) :D

The Free Republic of Omz222 thanks you for the military supplies. We will first pay 10% of the money. Then we can pay 15% due to much increased military spending policy.

EDIT: I checked.... my GDP is $300,000,000,000, and my National Budget is $92,289,600,000... Hmm... I could pay the 10% now!

Western Asia, your vessels have proved to be extremely reliable and fast. Your delivery of Shaldag Mk. II's went without a hitch, and they were immediately deployed around the island nation of Ancient Terra. Just three days ago two of them managed to intercept an illegal arms freighter outbound from the West Coast.

In response to our rapidly growing nation and our recent economic successes, and in light of your excellent record, the TRIAD Military High Command has decided to put in a large order.

We'd like:

1x GM Cruiser (127-missile array, Helicopter-Enabled)=1,200,000,000
2x GM Cruiser (64-missile array, Helicopter-enabled)=1,720,000,000

5x FD Destroyer (anti-submarine, 16-missile VLS array, Helicopter-enabled)=1,100,000,000
2x FD Destroyer (anti-air, 16-missile VLS array, Helicopter-enabled)=440,000,000

2x GM Destroyer (guided-missile, 24-missile array, Helicopter-enabled)=520,000,000

6x ASW Frigate (anti-submarine, 8-missile VLS array)=1,068,000,000

8x Fast Attack Missile Boat (called FAMB, AKA "Nirit")=1,040,000,000

We want to have a full load of helicopters delivered with the shipment.

Total Price=7,088,000,000

I believe that I've gotten the math right, but you'll probably want to check it over a bit. In addition, The Republic of Ancient Terra would like Western Asia to become our exclusive supplier for ships and ship-based munitions. If acceptible, payment will be delivered in installments of 25% per day.

I would like 2 pavehawks, 2 basicblackhawks, 2 DAPS blackhawks, 2 GM Destroyers 24 missle array helicopter enabled, And 2 GM Frigates 16 missle array helicopter enabled.

please tele me about the price. Funds will be wired upon confirmation of shipment

Thanx

OOC: Wow, I finish, go away for 2 days, and more orders.

Reminder: This orders thread is being temorarily abandoned from the 19th to the 26th. More orders may be placed during that time but none will be filled.

Derieties money received. Also, I saw the specs for your gravship in the Copyright thread (thank goodness I've already Copyrighted, Patented, and Trademarked my goods) and I was wondering what one of those would go for. Thanks.

Yerffej,
If you can handle it, we will sell it. As for payment....payment split up over an extended period of time is acceptable, especially as it will take us many years just to fill your order! We happily accept this charge.

Omz,
We appreciate the timeliness of your payments and your continued friendship.

AT,
We will fill your charge as soon as possible. Payment method is accepted and we will gladly take on the requested role (most other such offers had to be cancelled (1 nation, due to breaking of contract) or just were never followed up (2 or 3, mostly out of crumbling alliances)).
16-06-2003, 06:43
*1,772,000,000 has been wired*

The initial 25% of the payment has been delivered. We assure you that we will not break the contract. We've found vessels delivered by other nations to be either excessively expensive, far more vulnerable to fire than yours, or of lower quality with low-end electronics and mechanical systems.

Additionally, in a (LOT) of RL days we plan to purchase a carrier from your nation to serve as the flagship of our fleet. We of course understand that we could not possibly support a carrier at the moment, but we intend to purchase one of yours as soon as we can scrape together the necessary funds.

Thank you,

~Emperor El' Jonson, Sovereign Leader of The Republic of Ancient Terra~
~General Oktar, Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff~
~Admiral Mendoza, Commanding Officer, TRIAD Navy 1st Fleet~

All ships are prepared to be sent and will set out when the order is confirmed. Training is provided for all crews free of charge (if they have previous naval experience) and will be conducted for 2 weeks starting the day after the vessels’ arrival.

No further orders will be free of charges or have free vessels added unless otherwise stated.

Inquiries about Aircraft Carriers: The general specs are posted in my announcements thread, I’ll bring out prices and the SBV when I am able. I’ve got literally dozens of new things to bring out. Included are upgraded/next-gen blackhawks, some attack helis, my UCAVs, my UCARs, torpedoes, planes, the list goes on and on….

Mind if I make annual payments?

Your total, with equipage charges, is $41.317 Bn. Thank you for doing business with Greater Israeli Naval Yards (GINY) and sorry for the delay, please come again.

The larger ships will be delivered in batches of 10, the smaller in batches of 50, each batch about 12 months (gt) apart, as we have almost fully depleted our reserve ships. The Seahawks will arrive with their appropriate ships and some spare parts and all maintenance gear is stored standard with each vessel. There is space for one more Blackhawk-sized helicopter on each of the larger ships. A down payment of 10% is required now, with an appropriate portion due upon delivery of each set of vessels. We ask that semi-permanent housing be established for our instructors as they will use such housing while training your crews. Thank you for your business.

Helicopter Issues
Please note the following about helicopters
- GM Cruisers, GM and ASW Frigates, and GM and FD Destroyers are all capable of supporting 2 helicopters.
- HBCs and Heli Corvettes are each capable of supporting 1 helicopter.
- SBVs and ships smaller than a corvette are not capable of supporting any helicopters.
- Carriers and SOCS each have their capacities specified in their descriptions.

--Special Operations Capable (SOC) Blackhawk (Same as BB, but with many Pavehawk improvements for limited SO support capabilities): ~11.5mil

Store Front Re-Opened
OOC: I'm back.

Ok, some quick responses:

Daam,
Your order will be filled shortly.

Aquilla,
Yes, all models laid out in the cost blanks are for sale independantly of the vessels at the listed price.

TSB,
Umm, if you could pay for it, sure. Try 1 for now, even better, none but several smaller ships.

Omz,
Back again?
Ok, a few things to remember:
1) only 1 of the CH-53s fits on a normal ship with the capacity for 2 blackhawks (mostly an RPing note)
2) You need to say which ships get the MTHELs (or I'll just throw them on the GM cruisers)
3) Sure thing about the schedule, though you might want to push that back a bit more...but that's your call.

I'll fill all orders soon.

PLEASE NOTE: The MTHELs will be installed on the Cruisers unless otherwise is requests and all unspecified H-53 orders get the Sea Stallion version.

As per usual, you are welcome to place any order that you can pay for….(you might want to slow down your purchases a bit (for at LEAST 1 RL week)…since your navy is gonna be huge and possibly without enough sailors. At least until you’ve organized your navy more clearly. If you want a sample organization then I’ll be happy to TM you one, just TM me asking for the sample.)

I’m going to delay the delivery of all of this for at least 1 RL week. The Subtotal is $23.4294 billion, which means a total of $23.721 BILLION. As it is, you have a very large fleet just with what I’ve sold you previously and this should be your last purchase for a good while (perhaps 2 RL weeks or more!). You can begin to pay down the price a bit but the first shipment won’t arrive for 4 RL days (backlogged). It will take probably over a dozen shipments to completely deliver the fleet into your hands (so expect it to all be in your possession in 10 RL days…a LOT, but it’ll all work out better).

 You certainly don’t make my job easy!

I will take 1000 of each of these.
I do have the money if your wondering I just sold my secondary nation for 40 trillion dollars

*Wires 8 trillion dollars* keep the change for such a big order. Thanx.

Ummm, to produce a thousand of each would require that I dedicate my entire capacity to this project for the next few decades….and you’d never be able to fill all of those ships with crew. As much as I hate to turn down 8 Trillion dollars, allow me to suggest only getting 50 each of the larger ones and 200 each of the smaller vessels.

I’ll fill that order upon your approval.

--------------------------------------
--------------------------------------

The Protoss Concave would like:
8 X GMCs with 128 missile array and MTHEL systems
4 X Guided Missile Destroyer (96 missile array)
4 X Fleet Defense Destroyer and MTHEL (anti-submarine, 24 VLS array)
12 X Pavelow III

TPC,
I don’t think that you’ll have much use for that many Cruisers (and you won’t have the budget to buy it yet).

I would suggest a more defensive navy at first:
-Many Patrol Boats (many)
- A handful of Missile Boats (useful against unprepared larger ships and, if done right, against other missile or smaller boats)
-a couple of Corvettes (with helicopters, only light arms)

You might have a frigate or two, but those wouldn't be high-priority items as they are mostly offensive unless you are talking about 2 ASW frigates to watch for enemy subs,....and those won't do too well if alone (and can be replaced by a couple of Seahawks based aboard a corvette at a much smaller price and much better range/speed).

I would also caution you to remember that in between 1/10th and 1/20th of the cost of any vessel will be required almost YEARLY to keep up the ship and to make necessary improvements. Just think of how much it costs to fix up a car over 10 years and then blow that up to something many times the size and complexity and with a more important set of functions (moving is shared, but only the ships must be ready to fight their equals or betters at any time).

Other upkeep: weapons. Frigates and other large ships (currently) depend upon missiles to do the fighting instead of guns. But missiles can get very expensive (see price list in my sales thread for a sample) and they also require a good deal of upkeep. And, if you use them then you'll need to replace them a t some point. Even some Rail- or Box-launched Ship-to-ship missiles are cheaper than Vertical Launch Missiles, even if they suffer somewhat in range.

Tactically, the main purpose(s) of your navy right now is/are the following:
--- To defend your country (defensive weaponry)
--- To defend you country's interests (offensive weaponry and method of moving soldiers and equipment to defend your interests).

Actually, those are always goals....and good to follow with the size and involvement of your nation in mind.

Just keep that in mind when building a navy...and unless you get into IC trouble (in which case you should be able to muster support by simply begging for help), you won't need much more than what I described.

Model Fleet (for fairly strong state, to last for 1st week of national existance):

- 40 Patrol Boats (assorted types)
- 12 FAMBs
- 5 Heli Corvettes
- 2 ASW Frigates w/ minesweeping upgrade
- 1 FD Destroyer: TMD/TBMD
- 2 FD Destroyers: AA/AD
- 4 HSV/FTTs for medium-range troop transportation (holds about 1800-2400 soldiers and equipment easily for short trips, but only about 1200 for extended treks).

------------------------
------------------------
------------------------
------------------------

Please follow the following format in ALL new orders, thank you

Cost Blanks
Note: A "normal" load for vessels is 1 heli/heli-enabled ship. A "full" load is 2 for every ship above corvette and 1 for heli-enabled corvettes.

--Special Operations Capable (SOC) Blackhawk (Same as BB, but with many Pavehawk improvements for limited SO support capabilities): ~11.5mil

I wanted armoring for my previously-received Shaldags. Money for the previous order was wired with your confirmation and the government has approved the purchase of a few more ships to finish off our projected 10 carrier groups.

10 x Guided Missile Cruiser (128 missile array w/ MTHEL) = 12.25 billion
10 x Guided Missile Destroyer (96 missile array w/ MTHEL) = 9.65 billion
10 x Fleet Defense Destroyer (anti-submarine, 24 VLS array) = 2.6 billion

Half the money has been wired now and the other half will be wired tomorrow.

OOC: Saam, sorry for the delay! I missed your posting until now but will try to respond tomorrow.
IC: Consider your ships to be underconstruction and expect the first 2 of each type in 2 months (2rl days) with a similar batch every month (day) after that for a total of 5 shipments. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause for you but we've depleted our buffer of pre-made ships recently and have just been rebuilding it. Your ships will be sent as they are completed.
06-07-2003, 18:31
OOC: No problem, I'm not in a hurry.
IC: Thanks for taking our order. We appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into every one of your ships. Also, we were wondering how many people are needed to crew the Heavy Bombardment Cruisers.

A: About 294 personnel, including 22 sectional officers. Numbers are helped by a high level of automation in the gun systems and elsewhere in the ships designs...hasn't undergone too many redesigns since the introduction of the SBV within Western Asia's fleet but rather has been concentrated as a "SBV lite" that supports bombardment operations.

I'm considering cutting the personnel demands a bit by forming "Devastator" squadrons consisting of a handful of SBVs, several HBCs, a SBSV, a SOCS, and some support craft. It would be attached to a Strike Team of choice if there was a call for shore bombardment missions on a grand scale (supporting allies in invasion efforts...with limited personal involvement). I'll see how that goes.

Now, for your order...

10 x Guided Missile Cruiser (128 missile array w/ MTHEL) = 12.25 billion
10 x Guided Missile Destroyer (96 missile array w/ MTHEL) = 9.65 billion
10 x Fleet Defense Destroyer (anti-submarine, 24 VLS array) = 2.6 billion

10 X GM Cruiser (127-missile array)@ $1.2bn/unit= $12bn

10 X FD Destroyer (anti-submarine, 24-missile VLS array)@ $260M/unit= $2.6bn

20 X MTHEL ABM System for large WA ships @$25M/unit= $500M
60 X H-60 type helicopters of choice@$10.8M/unit (in bulk, good customer)= $648M

Your total, with equipage charges, is $25.26bn. Thank you for doing business with Greater Israeli Naval Yards (GINY) and sorry for the delay, please come again. If you wish, the payments may be distributed over a longer period of time for your convenience.

--Special Operations Capable (SOC) Blackhawk (Same as BB, but with many Pavehawk improvements for limited SO support capabilities): ~11.5mil

Premier Igo is currently seeking large carriers, as it becomes more and more evident that our domestic British-style carriers can no longer full fill all of our nation's relevent needs.. Are your carriers not yet available?
This is the first place we thought to look, though designing our own conventional carriers is our second choice.
Western Asia
09-07-2003, 21:30
BG,
We are producing large carriers on a smaller scale, though no specific posted price has been given. An order for one could be filled in 8months (about 1 RL week), but 3 can be running simulateously with a 4th site ready to begin production in 2 months (2 days, delivering 10 days from the order time). As you may know, we offer several varieties of carriers.

OOC: I sold someone one or two I think (in this thread...just look through my older large posts.), I'll quote you a price if you want it. It'll take me some work, but I need to do it anyways. The specs are pretty much what's in the tech thread posting.
Beddgelert
10-07-2003, 10:02
We are very interested in your ..mid size carriers, and High Admiral Walmgate believes that anywhere between two and six could be desirable, depending on prices and exact specification.

Premier Igo insists that the nation has no desire to rush you, as our own small Nibiru class carriers allow for regional deployments, and our search for larger carriers is merely in line with potential future desire for force projection as the nation grows.

Junior Defence Ministers will be tasked with researching WA projects over coming days in order for us to come closer to a decision on what exactly interests us.

(ooc:I rather think thirty or forty aircraft on each of several carriers probably gives a bit more flexability anyway- may be..almost 'fun' to lose a major carrier and still win a battle. Don't tell my people I said that!)
Western Asia
10-07-2003, 11:27
OOC: BG, I'll quote you some prices on the "Light" Carrier (I take it that's what you wanted) and the SBSV (of similar size though different purpose/use) soon, but I've a multiple-personality/schizophrenic RP to fight out against...well, myself (don't worry, I'll be finished kicking my own @ss soon enough).
