I try to RP my economy realisticly using NSTracker. However, I'm not sure whether to use the budgets there as a budget per RL month or RL year. What do you do?

I typically do it yearly, although realistically that data doesn't reflect my real policies; i.e. government spending is significantly lower and GDP significantly higher due to the effects of our IC policies, not the issues on the nation page.

But don't you have the problem that the NS world of weaponry is being constantly updated, Vetalia?

I want to do it RL monthly. How do I do that?

Figure out the time-progression system (if there is one) of the group you RP with, and find the ratio of RL-time to NS-time. If you RP with multiple groups, or a group that doesn't care about these things, it's probably more trouble than it's worth unless you're willing for the numbers to have no bearing on those around you.

Many RPers find relating real-world time to in-story time to be frustrating and wildly inconsistent, so a lot of people don't even try to formulate rules for it.

But don't you have the problem that the NS world of weaponry is being constantly updated, Vetalia?

Depends where you RP and with whom. Some RPers like the idea of a constantly advancing tech level, while others don't want something like that interfering with their storylines. The former shouldn't be considered a factor in the activities of the latter unless they want it to be.
