On my alternate nation I made this template which can be customised for any nation's automotive export needs:
To request exports of vehicles, please use the following template:
KILCANADA AUTOMOTIVE EXPORT REQUEST FORM
Vehicle: <insert vehicle name in BLOCK CAPITALS>
Model year: <replace with current year>
Design year: <you don't normally need to fill this in, unless the car is stated as being designed in a different year in the article, e.g. a 2009 1996 Honda Accord. Sounds contradictory? 2009 is the model year, 1996 is the design year of the car>
Specifications: <list specifications required - note please mention if you would like different from our nation's ones. Specifications must be negotiated first.>
Body styles: <State types you wish to market, options are 2-door sedan, 4-door sedan, 3-door hatchback, 5-door hatchback, 2-door wagon, 3-door wagon, 4-door wagon, 5-door wagon, 4-door minivan, 4-door SUV, 4-door commercial vehicle are examples. Please read the article carefully for details of them before making any request.>
Colours: This will be filled in by one of our automotive ministry's representatives
National currency: Your national currency and what it equates to in Canada dollars, US dollars and United Kingdom pounds
Thread: <link back to thread where mentioned>

An example (within the quotes here):
KILCANADA AUTOMOTIVE EXPORT REQUEST FORM
Vehicle: CHRYSLER 300C
Model year: 2009
Design year:
Specifications: 300C 3.0 V6 4-Door Sedan Manual, 300C 5.7 V8 4-Door Sedan Automatic, 300C 3.0 V6 5-Door Wagon Manual
Colours: Blue, Black, Red, White, Green
National currency: $
Thread: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=587281

We intend to sell it from $000 to $2000.

Any requests that are not in this format will not be accepted.

Should we try using this template to make trading requests easier for some items on this forum?

Just a thought! :D

It's a good idea, and I always appreciate a nicely constructed template (I'm just weird like that.). Unfortunately, on this forum, people are generally unwilling to accept much standardization. In addition to this, there are only a handful of automotive storefronts or similar threads, and they don't get the most frequent orders, so even attempted form standardization would likely be a waste of energy.
