Wrong forum buddy.

Ok, who wants beer? *hands out beer*

EDIT: Damn, you mods are QUICK.

Howdy!

Being able to do trade or join alliances is something you were able to do from the first day, either through written roleplay or by joining your region's forum (if it has one).

I'd suggest taking a look around at the stickies on this forum, read a few threads in the various sub-fora, and get an idea of what you might want to do.

And yes, we are indeed quick. :)

wow. thanx for kicking me to an empty room. just wait till i get my nukes built up. you'll be sorry.

I suspect I will be sorry. Such an unimaginative approach combined with a lack of regard for the technical aspects of language use will likely bore me to tears.

and a motherfuck you to you too.

HotRodia is a mod you know. Mod powers > nukes.

there is no need for a mod to come off with that kind of attitude. i don't need the aggrivation

You should switch to Firefox. It has a built-in spell-check. Also, HotRodia is nicer to you than I would have been.

and a motherfuck you to you too.

Now seems like a good time to suggest that you review the One-Stop Rules Shop (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023) in the Moderation forum.

And let's face it, if you didn't want the aggravation, it might have been best not to be sarcastic and threaten to nuke my nation.

Being a Mod doesn't mean you or anybody else gets free shots at me.

i couldn't care less about you or your silly nation. if you don't know the answer to a question then don't get mad about it.

Aww... *pouts in the corner*

As far as the OP, HotRodia told you what threads to visit in order to get acquainted with the principles of the game. I suggest you visit them and then come back and see us with less attitude.

my attitude was fine when i posted the question. i was just trying to get more involved with the game. if "hotrodia" can't take a joke then i suggest they get another hobby or go outside once in a while.

Well, given HotRodia moved the thread to the proper forum without saying a word of insult or deprication, then advised you on some of the resources you could read for yourself and get most (if not all) of the answers, I'd say that was a fairly nice response.

You responded that you were going to get nukes and exact revenge. Not exactly cordial.

Agreed, if you read and follow what is said in those stickies you will be regarded with more respect as a "newbie," someone new to the game who is willing to learn, versus a "N00B," a player that does not know how to Rp properly, refuses to learn how, and, thus, garners no respect.

Also the Mods don't mind gentle teasing (e.g. a mod mentions in his/her post that it is his/her birthday, making light comments about their age is okay). But it is not okay to curse them out or threaten their nation with nukes, especially since your nation is too small to have them developed to any degree. Me, and most probably the Mods, on the other hand...*thinks evil thoughts*

Anyhow, a common Rp theme for a "newbie" is, depending on what sort of national character they wish to cultivate, may be to start up an embassy so that people can learn more about your nation. If you wish to develop an evil persona on the other hand, you could have your first thread be about testing your first nuclear weapon. Doing this however, may invite other nations to go to war with you, so before you do that I suggest you create a factbook. You may check out mine (it's in my sig, fyi) for inspiration. It is indispensable to good war Rping, or Rping in general, as I found out the hard way:( Also you may want to develop an ORBAT (order of battle) or purchase armaments from the various storefronts. If you wish to learn more, please do read the stickies.
