Secondly: the Dragona have various funeral methods but they generaly feature many prayers to Deces. If its from a (ft) battle field then tomb ships ferry thousands of the dead to the planet Deces-heim. there they are lowered via grav-lifts slowly into thier graves and then sealed in with a stasis emitter to keep them preserved for about a millenium (geo-thermal energy, ftw). They're burryed with a traditional/ ceramonial sword, pike and the symbol of Deces with thier name, rank and other militery information writen on its reverse side. Then they go to hell (no matter what) but achive a better position there depending on what they've done in thier life.
Yes, the Dragona are grim. Anyway, the coffin is then covered with earth and the tombstone is raised into position and then a single drop of blood is placed in a small indentation on its top. They are mass burrials with often thousands of attenants excluding the priests.
Normal funerals are obviously smaller but still the grave yards are beautiful places and any who are present at the time of a burial is traditionaly suposed to utter a blessing at least when they see it. The grave yards are filled with crypts and mausoliams as well as many beautiful plants and trees.
Overall they're quite a moving ocasison for the entire comunity, enforcing a greater sense of empathy as every dragona, from a young age, knows how death affects others.
