This is a thread for keeping "old" maps of your country (A.K.A Before the nation was established) and letting the world admire them.
This is an old, crappy map of my country, for example, before the country was created:

It has a little museum placard in the bottom left corner.
Yes, Rentusera was a real nation in NationStates, before it was deleted for inactivity.

What was, at one point, an unassociated group of many large and small-city points finally unified in 1296 A.D. to a singular, loosely connected nation called the Urcean City States. It was similar to an alliance, except representatives from all three nations met to decide economical, military, and political issues of the group (although many of these decisions were thrown out by one of the city-state's leaders). Although relatively small to its Phlonian neighbor, Urcea is able to hold of Phlonian conquest by having a small, well trained army with the most modern equipment seen in the land. Phlonia (something of a mix of the Roman and Persian IRL Empires) has tried many time to crush Urcea but, in its wars, has actually lost land many times, such as the (now referred to) Republican Island Chain. Most of the natives are pushovers, like the Rhoqousians and Reco; they were simple nomadic natives (like the Eastern Woodland Natives of the US). However, the Douqisian Nation takes no crap. They are many loosely connected nomadic tribes but also some relatively advanced cities (such as southern american natives). Each of these cities has its own army and the nomadic tribes are also well versed in warfare. They are usually not aligned politically, but do trade with eachother. In time of war, some cities and groups form a united front against any invasion. Rhonesia, Quadorcia, Necionia, Quindicia, and Dodicia are all similar to the different Italian states of the Middle Ages. Rhonesia has one of the best trading fleets on the planet, let alone the continent. The Beltronian Empire is a unique one; its the only place where neanderthals are still known to live. This seafaring culture (sort of less-savage Viking hordes with medieval technology) employs its neanderthals as "beserkers", tough, small soldiers that can take a lot of damage and can also carry a heavy armament because of their build. With human and neanderthals aligning, the Beltronian Empire is quite strong.
