Okay unusual request but I want my economy to go DOWN to imploded. I know I bet you mostly get questions on improving economy but I want to wreck mine (lol) so what issues should I chose to take my economy down? I guess I just like the idea of Rping an undeveloped country

Choose options that increase government spending (except, perhaps, when that's to subisidise industry?)
Choose choose pro-environment options over pro-business ones.
Choose pro-union options.
Outlaw cars, gambling, and any other industry that the issues offer you a chance to eliminate.

I don't know about that. I've got wild spending going on with a very strong economy.

In your face, fiscal conservatives!

Definetly try to keep your government as weak as possible: The more chaotic, the more like anarchy your government is, the weaker the economy will be. The Government as an institution is meant to preserve order, to keep the people from maiming and killing each other.

But, if the government does not exist, or is so weak, it can't make a difference, it'll undoubtedly make a weak economy.

That's what anarchy is and does: It does nothing but destroy.

If it is too strong it can also strangle it.

Any option that says "go back to the land/trees/sea" should work nicely.

I'm not sure if Civil rights and Political freedoms really influence in economy. Basically taking any decision that:

1) Increases taxes (public healthcare, police, space program and alike)
2) Increase welfare and workers rights (minimum wage, pro-strikes legislation and alike)
3) Benefits the environment.
4) Raises political freedoms at the expense of increased bureaucracy.

Will pull your economy down.

As for anarchies being poor economies in NS, Third Spanish States had a much better NSEconomy rating than now back when I accidentally shifted it to "Anarchy".

Most psychotic dictatorships, on the other hand, are pretty poor economically.
