Please ignore the typo (Declaration).

The people of Sam Becket are working on the first draft of their federal constitution, and seek assistance from other nations.

The people of Sam Becket declare their system of government to adhere to these agreed upon truths in the following ways:

1. All systems in this universe are ever changing. If this government were to hold any ideology as a constant, absolute truth, it would eventually lead to stagnation. This and all subsequent documents are therefor subject to change as human understanding of the concepts held within evolves.

2. Any human system is as corrupt as it is powerful. It is therefor important to keep the powers of this federal government to a minimum. The main tasks of this government will therefor be limited, at this time, to five (5).

3. While Government is essential for the continuation of complex human society, our future salvation has always relied upon technological advancement. Because of this, the first two functions this federal government shall serve, will be to ensure the Life, Liberty, and Freedom of it’s people, and provide for them the infrastructure necessary for technological innovation and personal creativity.

4. Money is a necessity of any society in which resources, services, or information are of limited supply. The people realize the following to be unsightly consequences of a monetary economy:

a) The forces of technological advancement propel business to achieve enhanced distribution and manufacture efficiency through automation, which, through unemployment of the middle and lower class, is in direct conflict with the common good under a monetary economy

b) Technology has, throughout our nation’s history, decreased prices and increased distribution. This has proven to be a threat to large, previously established corporations, which have in turn attempted time and again to suppress technological innovation.

c) Money has the unintended effect of making tasks meant for the greater good of human kind more difficult to achieve if they have no potential for profit.

Because of the realization of three (3), and a monetary economy’s direct opposition to technological advancement, it is the contention of the people of Sam Becket that the negative aspects of a monetary based economic system do not justify social use if resources, information, and services are of relatively unlimited supply.

It is for this reason, the final three functions this government shall serve are as follows:

A. To strive to increase the supply of these three necessities through publicly funded technological advancement programs and prizes,

B. To back a monetary policy only until resources, services, and information are of relatively limitless supply, and

C. To stop any system from impeding the supply of services, resources, or information

6. If at any time the federal government fails to perform these duties regularly, or by coincident or personal interest assumes additional powers, it is concluded to be ineffective or corrupt under statement (1), and is therefor in need of revolution.

7. If at any time the citizens of Sam Becket are denied their right to arms, assembly, or free speech, their right to revolt against a corrupt government (6) is denied, and is therefor deemed highly illegal.
