Hi, I'm a conservative libertarian politically so why is nation states calling my country a "New York Times" democracy? (implying that it is a liberal country)?
I have passed many laws in my country that would be considered right-wing, including loosening gun laws, so why this title?

New York Times Democracy means the media have a heavy impact on your democratic process. It generally happens when you give your people wide political freedoms (right to vote, freedom of speech, assembly, press) while keeping your economic and personal freedoms moderate.
