I searched through the forums and I have no clue where this post is supposed to go, so I'm just putting it here to see if it can get answered. If it gets moved to the right spot, all the better.

Anyway, Sev Space was crashed by folks from the Shifting Sands region. Any help getting it back into our rightful hands would be appreciated. The original region members are Ruritania, Gazebo, GRAS, and Sevilia. The invaders are Starbucks is Good, Squirrels Flying, My Mustache, Carman Sandiego, and Lockes Brainchild.

Welcome to nation states. Other nations are allowed to crash regions. If you do not want them you, your region founder, or region delegate can eject them and block your region from access... Actually this thread/ post belongs more under Gameplay.

Um... Yeah... You have no clue, do you?

First, I should welcome you, rather than the other way around, since I've been on NationStates 5 years longer than you.

Second, our delegate is now one of the invaders, we have no founder, and I have no control. So these lame-brains can't be ejected.

Third, it may be "allowed" but it doesn't make the game fun. It's really annoying. We want our quiet region left alone, but we don't want to password protect it, because we're small and we want new visitors. We just don't want new visitors that will wreck up the place.

Regardless of time on these forums, threads regarding gameplay should go into the Gameplay (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=1234) subforum.

Haven't been involved in such things for several years now, but there are probably still several defender alliances out there which might be able to help you out. The List of Invader/Defender Groups/Regions (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=455270) could perhaps be of some help. Could also possibly see if this qualifies as griefing.

Well, I wasn't sure, because I did a search for region crashing and came up with nothing that remotely resembled a post on region crashing. (Plus, I haven't been to the forums in 4 to 5 years. I've just sat back quietly on NationStates, running my country.)

Whatever. Mods can move this post whenever they feel like.

I doubt it counts as griefing, though, because no one has been kicked out, and passwords have not been established.

May I just state for the record, as the player who controls Carman Sandiego, that I was not one of the invaders of Sev Space, that I do not support the raid of Sev Space, that I have never been affiliated with Shifting Sands or any other raiding group? I just have notoriously bad timing. :p
