As a former resident of the Republic of Georgia, I wanted to set the Georgian flag as my nation's flag. But when I went into my settings to select it, the flag isn't there! Why not???

We feel there's no need to add more when any player can upload their own flag. Much like we won't be adding Azerbaijan, Djibouti, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Faroe Islands, Fiji, Georgia, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Libya, Maldives, Nepal, Northern Marianas, Oman, Samoa, Serbia & Montenegro, Tajikistan, Tonga, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, Vatican City, and Yemen.

You could probably drop either Roumania or Chad (I'd suggest the latter, as it seems even less likely than Roumania to have many native NS players...) from the list quite safely, too, given that that pair of national flags are actually IDENTICAL to each other...

Given that Hack as said no flags are going to be added, it would be a safe bet that no flags are going to be removed either.

I've just checked: It's a rather subtle difference, but Monaco's flag should have a 4:5 ratio as against 2:3 for Indonesia's...

With these parameters, it is very hard to find a flag of another country. I feel that you should have the flags of ALL countries, not just the ones you guys want.

We really need to fix that text. Only the 10KB limit is still effective, though we'll slap you if you get much larger than 300x200. Other file formats also work just fine.

The current flags were loaded by Max Barry when the game was created in October 2002, and he's indicated that he's quite entirely done with them. That may be personal, it may be technical, but it's not going to change.

Seriously, NS allows nations to upload their own flags, I'd say that's pretty generous, considering the amount of grief inappropriate flags have provided in the past.

I'd say flag uploading is a blessing - it keeps people like Arizona Nova, Tweedy and many others in business.
