Not sure if this is the right place for this but:
Is there an organised Church in NS, or can anybody claim to be Pope?

I think anyone can claim pretty much anything they like, NS isn't a simulacrum of the real world so i'm guessing as long as you don't break rules about obscenity e.t.c. then you can call yourself pope if you want. Even if someone else already does.

Yes there is. It is a group of regions called the Virtual Roman Catholic Church. Their Prelature Pope is Pope Ave Maria. Try the region Vatican II. They are the primary region I think.

There are dozens of Papacies though, I have one, although technically it is the Cenobiarch running the mill. You can have one, or three, it does not however mean they will be followed universally.

There are mamy Popes and Anti-Popes and only God know which is "the only one"...

Well, there's always Doomani Catholicism.

Yes there are other claimants, but I think VRCC is the biggest and primary Catholic authority in NS. Many powerful regions with state religions recognise it.

The Catholics in my country adhere to the RL Pontiff, like many other nations before us. Rather unfortunate state visit last year by Mr. Ratzinger, however, when he mistook some shoe polish for hair gel and also smeared some on his upper lip by accident. He went out to the crowd ranting and raving in German, waving his arms around madly. But no one thought anything was wrong. [shrugs]

(Is the whole "The Pope is a Nazi!" thing overdone by now? I'm often behind the times. :p)
