what are puppets? what are they for? and how does one come by them?

It is simply another nation you create. Sometimes you give them 'separate' personalities from your main nation, and sometimes they are your mouthpieces that you use in other regions. I'll send out nations named "AM Rep" to speak for me in other nations, because I am delegate in the GUN for example.
Edit: But you can only have one in the WA at a time.
If you want, you can send a puppet to Theater, a region that I created for puppets (As a joke)

A "puppet" is another NS nation. If you're a raider or defender, you typically use a puppet for your military actions. Others use puppets so they can have a presence in other regions.
gosh i thought one could only have one nation fullstop, thank you that's very interesting i think i might go and create myself a little puppet, i presume you have to give a different email address for the set up though right?

you can have the same adress, just so long as you only have one nation in the WA. otherwise you are allowed to have another nation.

To reiterate what others have said here: ONE nation allowed in the W.A. only. If you try to sneak more than one in, we tend to get very, very annoyed.
