:headbang: How do I quit this game and cancel my "nation"...? Does anyone know...? I can't seem to find any link that will allow me to cancel my account...

You can't cancel your account. Just leave your nation alone -- ie, don't log into it -- for 30 days and it will die.
If the problem is that your nation isn't developing the way you want it, start a new one. You're allowed as many puppet nations as you have time to care for, but make sure only one of them is a World Assembly member (and it doesn't have to be your first nation or your main one).
