I'm looking for a region set in the real world.

I'll be short and sweet.

I'm looking to join an active ns region that accepts nations based in real world geographic locations -- preferably North America. I'm a veteran player with a nation over 8 billion people, educated in history and gameplay, and quite familiar with roleplay and imaginative story-telling.

My nation, Tessen, includes the real-life geography of the U.S. states of: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Upper Michigan, and North and South Dakota east of the Missouri River. And while Tessen exists within those states, my nation's history does not mirror real life.

Is there any region out there, willing to accept Tessen within your ranks, as well as grant me the ability to still play the game from within those geographic boundaries?

If so, please reply or send me a message. I have an entire economic, political, social, and cultural history for my nation based upon an exhaustive timeline derived from the computer games: "Europa Universalis", and "Victoria" (late 1700's-1920). I could continue the simulation to include the events of "Hearts of Iron" as well (through the 1950's) -- if a suitable nationstates region accepted me within their ranks.

Regional history does not have to mirror real life, however, it would be nice if geography could be compatible. A full "World Book" website is available to those regions who would like to learn more about Tessen. Just ask.

So.... does any NS region want a new hard-core imaginative nation?

Try the Scottish empire.

I took a look at the Scottish Empire, and I think I'll pass for a great many reasons. The biggest, however, being that there are only three nations in the region, and you are apparently roleplaying an uncontested war throughout North America. I'd rather join a region focused on unity rather than bent on nuclear conflict.

Plus, as a World Assembly nation, I would have no interest in your war.

I appreciate the invite, however, I'm looking for something a little more.... realistic.

I appreciate the invite Icy Cold Death Touch. However, you do not appear to be based within the geography of North America, or the real world.

Your region worldbook says the following:

"The coldest region on record for having the coldest recorded temperature of -6000000 degrees celsius. The inhabitants live underground in the burrows and come out occasionaly when temperatures normalize."

I'm looking for something with a little geographic realism. But thank you nonetheless.

Kind Regards,
-Jon

Funen is looking for nations to join the region too.

Funen is currently a simple, small region of 17 nations but I think we need heavy expansion as only a tiny proportion are WA Members. We have a regional forum which we hope to expand in near future if we get more members.

Charlotte Ryberg is the WA Delegate for Life in Funen (modelled on the idea of the president of Turkmenistan), so WA members only need to endorse her. But I'll endorse you in return. Other than that, it is an open-ended region, which should be enough for real-world play.

In future Funen may establish their own union of nations, which is something to look forward to.

Like I said, if we expand with more nations, both WA and non-WA we would have a good established region. If you are interested simply move the region to Funen, endorse Charlotte Ryberg if you're a WA member and you're off.

Just don't take the word 'region' too literally. It can mean anything from a location to a whole world.

You could go to New Caribbean. Not exactly in North America, but close enough by.

Do you mean something like http://www.nationstates.net/region=United_States/

I'm not in that region, but it looks like the type of region you would like.
