Some effects of issues in NS are not exactly clear. For example there was too issues:

Nazi parade
Capital penalty

I agree to held the freedom of speech and disagree with the death panishment. In result in description of nation is:
The tenet of free speech is held dear (...) and extreme political groups are outlawed.

Where did I outlawed the extream political groups? I did not agree with them (some of them proposed to kill a person!!!) but I agree them to speak on parade etc.

The death penalty issue involves ignoring the popular will of the people for your own. In the world of NS, the unintended consequence is a slippery slope that outlaws anything the ruling party doesn't like.

I'd argue that it is too 'direct' indirect effect. Minimilized - yes. Not taken into account - yes. Moved toward dictatorship/autoritarianism - yes. Rising inpopularity - yes.
However to outlaw some group goverment have to make some direct actions...

I did make direct actions. First, it ignored popular will and banned the death penalty. Then, it proceeded to ban a whole bunch of other stuff.

Well - the part with banning anything was made unclear for me. From description of issue I understood that I'm rejecting the capital penalty only.
I don't know if I am the only "newbie who just come and wants to change everything" but is it possible to made the description more clearer? I would dismiss the issue.

Let's see...

"I'm sorry," says Civil Rights Unionist [name], "but this travesty cannot be allowed to pass. If the government needs to crack down on lunatic fringe groups in order to keep our great nation free of the death penalty, then so be it. We must ban the politics of hatred and fear!"Yeah, that bolded bit is also key.

Still, that's kind of how issues go... they'll usually have really weird/extreme consequences. Luckily, most of what you do can be undone, and that description will bump off your main page soon enough (probably already has).
