1. what is this " BattlePLate" i keep reading about in numerous threadsSome kind of spacedy ship based on some real world author. The Honor Harrington series, perhaps?
2. i keep hearing about storefronts and "wiring"money how is this accomplised and how do you earn money/figure it out/how muhc stuff costs.Officially? You don't. The people throwing about numbers are using one of the third party calculators. A google search for "ns calculator" should turn up a couple.
3. how do i figure out the ocnversion rate of my cash into a universally accept currency so i can go on some FT storefronts maybe?See #2.
4.i keep reading about how it takes time for stuff to happen can anyone give me a scale from RL time to IC time for me to compare please.Nope. People use different rates. I think so-called "fluid time" is still the standard, but I'm not sure, and I was never highly familiar with II's mores.

1. I've never read of BattlePlate seems it could be like a "Diskworld" thing.
2. Players make up all kinds of numbers and fictious things to sell. A few years ago it was slaves.
3. NSTracker is a standard way to figure out your nation's stats and ratios.
4. Time like population wise?... Population is tied to amount of issues answered. I believe. Or you could based your IC time based on gestation period of your populus. I think the old ruling for an army surpassing your nations population was a type of godwanking.
Hope this helps.

Population is tied to amount of issues answered. I believe. This is a urban legend that just won't die. Population is only determined by how long your nation has been extant.
I think the old ruling for an army surpassing your nations population was a type of godwanking. There have never been any official rulings on GodModing, because we don't police role-play. However, anything over 5% or so is probably utterly ignoring reality and likely to be ignored itself.

There are ships classified as 'Battleplates' in the web-comic Schlock Mercenary (http://www.schlockmercenary.com/)...

Thanks. Come back soon. OK. First off, I'm relly confused about this role playing aspect of the game in which people trade and such...Do you just "approach" someone with an offer? How do you know it's realistic? Do you just guess and check? Are there any unwritten rules or general agreements I should be aware of? How does this affect my country's status at all? Would this part be essential at all to WA standing?...
Well, that's all the qustions I can think of at the moment...
