Acronyms?

Alrighty, so forgive the newbish-ness, but I have a question about posts on II...

Oftentimes, when a post is made on II, there is a set of words or letters in parenthesis next to the title; most often "closed" or "open" or "ATTN: *insert nation here*", etc.

However, sometimes there are random acronyms; most popular are "MT" or "FT" or the like.

What the heck do these mean?
If someone doesn't mind explaining them, it would be a great help and much appreciated. Or, if this information is posted somewhere on the II stickies (I searched them; came up empty-handed) and wouldn't mind pointing me in the right direction, that would also be appreciated.

Well, FT is "Future Time" (for futuristic nations), and PT would be "Past Time"... but I don't know about MT. "Modern Time", perhaps?
