Is population gain the same for everyone? Or do your stats affect it at all?
How is influence determined in a given region? I read the FAQ but it was kinda vague about it.

Each day your nation(s) gain a couple million new citizens each day, it's not affected by stats.
How is influence determined in a given region? I read the FAQ but it was kinda vague about it.
Influence is determined on how long you have been in a region, and can increase faster if you're in the UN and have more endorsements. It increases each day.

Each day your nation(s) gain a couple million new citizens each day, it's not affected by stats.
+ 1 million per day for 5 days after a nation is created, then + 2 million per day for 5 days, then + 3 million per day for 5 days, and then + (5 to 8) million per day -- with the exact number determined randomly each day -- after that...

In the early part of the game some nations benefited from the population bug when double gains in population were made for quite a while, however.
