A few questions...

A few questions I have about fixing up my nation a bit:

1. How do I lower that damned income tax rate?

2. How do I get my economy out of the toilet.

3. Why does it keep saying I'm a psychotic dictator if I keep doing perfectly reasonable things, like making toll roads or the like?

Please help me make some sense out of all of this!

I've just answered a question in another thread here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13254746&postcount=7) that would apply to your trio too.

Remember, even if the game says you're a psychotic dictator, you don't have to roleplay your nation that way. You can post a factbook thread about your nation and that's what it will be.

I imagine it's something to do with recent decisions your government has made:

Politicians are often seen with soldiers pointing guns at their heads, the country has been 'going shopping' by annexing nearby nations for their resources, a crusade against barbaric religious practices has begun, and graffiti graces every city's streets.Make more decisions allowing for freedom of religion, freedom of speech, protecting civil liberties, etc., and you'll see your freedoms rankings go up, and hopefully you'll be placed in a UN category more to your liking.

Thank you for the help with that. Could you give me any tips on how to fix up my economy? I'd like to get it off of "weak" and up to "fair" or "developing" at least.

The Randomly Coherent Conclave of Ardchoille ... Economy: Imploded ... The average income tax rate is 100% ...

Believe me, my advice is not what you need here.

Make decisions in favor or the corporations, no matter how heinous they may sound. That's a really easy way to bump up your economy.

Also becoming more capitalistic will help get rid of the psycotic dictator thing because the government will have less control over everything
