This is a little experiment I'm trying... see, sometimes I have a little time over from studies etc., and so I'm thinking about making flags and logos for nations, primarily FT nations who are active on the RP forums, but anyone else is also welcome... I appreciate being given a free hand, but if you have some specifik instructions or requirements feel free to tell me... currently constructing my own flag which will be up tomorrow sometime... =)

Post your orders people... ;P

I think people will like it. You might mention it here:

Design wise, you have to worry about with flags is : swastikas, porn, and other offensive material. As always; ask if you are not sure.

Good luck and have fun!

I have an emblem for one of my nations here (http://nationstates.wikia.com/images/9/99/Coat_of_arms_of_Jeuna.svg), but if you could make it a little more...interesting, I'd be thankful. (:

EDIT: Link reposted with permission. Note that it somehow doesn't want to show up in the browser, and is downloaded to the desktop. You'll need an SVG editor to view it, as well (I recommend Inkscape).

Cool, np m8... if there were several flag-designers working together, then I wouldn't feel under pressure if R get's busy sometimes, so feel free to join =)

...as I said, my speciality is more "out-of-the-ordinary" flags, preferably Future Tech...

I would like a flag. Requirements are

1. "Rising Sun" Japan flag
2. Black and Gold samurai mask, with helmet, in front of the red dot
3. Crossed katanas behind the mask

I could use a national flag, if you find you want to take up the project, here are a few guidelines. They're mostly political, but feel free to get as creative as you want,.

1. No really out- there colors, like neon green, fuschia, yellow, etc. Anything else, Include some black, and other colors are completely in your ballpark (as long as they're a dark to medium shade).

2. Anarchy symbol is a major requirement, but you can incude one, or more. Creative forms are welcome.

3. You can include the national animal, the hawk, if you like to add to it.

And that's it, thanks if you decide to take it up. ^_^

To be helpful-- www.fotw.us has lots of flag images you can hack and slash to use in new ones, and to get ideas. http://www.nava.org/Flag%20Design/GFBF/gfbf-1.htm has information on the principles of good flag design, how to make good flags. Theres more data here http://www.nava.org/Flag%20Information/Index.php and here http://www.nava.org/Flag%20Design/Index.php

All from NAVA's website. The North American Vexillogical Association.

I made the first and didn't really like it..so I made one without the mask, and still didn't really like it, so used the normal Japanese flag instead and like the two that resulted from that.
