Ma'am, the Mods are often in different time-zones and there are only a few on the site. If you wait a few hours and don't make any other threads, they'll get to you.

Whilst I'm not a Mod, I've been around for a few years. What exactly is it you're got a problem with? Maybe I can help.

I am trying to run as a deligate for the UN and I was sending a message out introducing myself to all the other players in my Region and asking for thier endorsement and I received a message something about spam and I know that it is a rule not to but I do not know if when introducing yourself and running for a office is considered spam....I do not want to break any rules, thank you for responding and your answers:)
This is what I wrote:
I am wanting to introduce myself to my Region (we are a school class that is starting the game) and I am running for the delegate position and I have posted this to several other countries in my Region and then a red message popped up about spam...Is this spam?
I would like to ask for your endorsement in the UN as I would like to be you diplomat and serve your best interest.
This can be done by joining the UN and or by letting me know where you stand on the issues before the UN so that I can vote in such a manner as to serve you.
Thank you for your time...The NAIM People

I DO NOT WANT TO SPAM ANYONE! I am new to this and want to follow the rules...please advise

As long as you're sending your telegrams to other members of your region, you shouldn't run into too much trouble. I think what you're experiencing is the warning in between telegrams- if you try to send a telegram immediatly after another, you'll get a warning telling you to wait a while longer to prevent spamming.

When it comes to telegrams, you can avoid "spamming" players by sending only one message to each nation.

Hope that helps!

Another way is to use your Region's RunBoard. but don't post multiple times. just post once and engage in conversations.

Running for a Delagate, takes many endorsements from your fellow nations in your region. I was delagate of my region for about three years.
Many people dont like new players swooping in and asking for endorsements, and quite often, gaining thier approval takes time.
This is especially true if you have several nations within your region.

Theres nothing wrong with asking your fellow nations for thier endorsement, as long as you dont make several repeated attempts.

Also, Gameplay is the place for this kind of thread.

If you have several nations in your region, you may want to try a smaller one.

Good Luck.

As Snefaldia mentioned, the message you received is an automated one intended to let you know that you may be violating our spam rules. I've gotten it before too.

Just make sure to read the One-Stop Rules Shop in the Moderation forum, paying particular attention to the part on spam, and hopefully you can avoid rule-breaking.

There's some good player advice in this thread as well that you may want to take.
