Hiya;

I am geting tired of dealing with the 'tween and young teen crowd. Tired of being reminded that kids knew everthing (sic). Are there any regions run by adults? I would be an asset to a decent adult-run region where the young ones knew respect. Thanks in advance.

The Founder and Delegate of Absolution are both in their late thirties. So are many others though members are from all ages in general.

Missing Link is completely adult-based, all members are over 25 years of age.

But we're really really small and have ZERO UN presence.

Asian Continent (http://www.nationstates.net/02783/page=display_region/region=asian_continent) and its affiliate regions have a decent age mixture. Hell, we even have a guy in his 40s or 50s. Anyone who's under 18 is mature enough to show respect, so you could give us a try.

Hogwarts is run by a small group of people aged 20+. We are how ever looking to recruit more like minded people to help us run Hogwarts.

Hogwarts is not just for people who like Harry Potter, we talk and discuss many different topics on a daily basis, and our forum just adds to that.

I am 31 years old, and I run the regions Firesign Theatre, Monty Python, and Begorrah.

Not at all, but he is definitely the minority in a sea of 20- or 30-somethings in our regions.

Hmm, I think that he (the original upset poster) was angered that so many 12-15 year olds are on NS, basically doing all of the things we sensible 18+ people despise.

F*$# BUSH! is the usual stuff you hear all the time, with no reasoning whatsoever other than it's apparently cool to say that in as many caps as possible... uncensored. I won't waste your time advertising the alliance I'm a part of, but I feel that if there are any 13 year olds in it, we have the nice ones.

Fatal Terrain is all adult - and I'm over 50 - and I'll agree that the kids can be a bit of an exasperation at times.

Well, it looks like the OP has started his own region, so all you adult-oriented regions (er...) may now weep for the tragic loss of Minilla Island as new recruit. Good luck, MI.

My region, La Dickinsonia is made up of me and a few friends from school. We're all sophomores in college (19-20 years old). Obviously since we're in college we're gonna have a lot of jokes but we're not stupid 14 year olds either and we know how to interact with other people

I appreciate all the postings on this board. Kenny, TYVM! To everyone else, my problem is exactly what was said: The Pre and Tweens are too busy doing absolutes and acting cool rather than acting intelligently. As for The Rock: That is a project that I promised someone I would help him with. If it does not work out, I will be looking for a place to call home again.

Caprecia consists of some members around their late teens, early 20s, some are in their late 20s. Our government consists of members around their 20s as I suspect. Your welcome to check us out. :)

From the info I can quickly lay my hands on, Eeyiyatya has me at 51; 4 in their 40's; 3 in their 30's; 3 in their 20's; and one 17 year old. And I know that some of the others are students, so 20 to 24 would be a safe guess for their ages.
