Now I'm back there'll be (approximately) monthly updates to the largest regions list. You can find this month's update at:

Notable changes include the fact that after several years my former region England is no longer one of top 32 largest. This month also sees a school region, Prepa CEM, in the top 32 for the first time.

How long does your script take to run? (Do you pull all XML pages like I do?)

Are you contemplating posting other possible survey rankings as well?

BTW, you can add spacing as with a normal textfile when quoting as 'code'. It retains the spaces.

It downloads the region list (currently 666 pages, which took 17 minutes, including a one second delay between each request). This is faster than downloading the XML, but obviously all it retrieves are region names, populations, and UN delegate names.

At some point I may eventually write NSAnalytics, my planned successor to the long dead NSDemographics. It would download and cache whatever information was requested by its statistics modules.

But then I'd have to be bothered to insert the appropriate number of spaces for each line...

Edit: ...or I could swap the region and population columns and then all the tabs should line up properly.

Interesting. Looks like a puppet theatre from here, given that the Delegate only has 14 endorsements. (In class regions, ALL legitimately-created class nations are automatically enrolled in the UN.) We'll have a chat with the teacher, methinks.


Edit: or perhaps they simply haven't discovered endorsements. They seem to be issue-oriented rather than UN oriented.

Prepa CEM has many, many UN nations, just a Delegate with very few endorsements.

Also, go North.
