We have a sense of humour. We always laugh at other nations and their silly people. One of our top programmes is called "The Terry Slinger show" in which people who live in trailer parks fight and inter breed it is so funny it makes us feel happy to be us!

Oh how we laugh!!

I was on that programme once. I think we left the interbreeding until after the show, though.

As our economy has been imploded almost since the day we were founded, we haven't been able to afford a sense of humour yet.

However, we have opened diplomatic relations (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=12980831#post12980831) with Omigodtheykilledkenny, and find that an acceptable substitute.

Rejistanis have a sense of humour, often however things are barely translatable sine many rejistani jokes are language related. Language games like: "Give our government a better Rejistanian - and our Rejistania a better government" as common.

Kennyites have no sense of humor of which we are aware.

Mirfakans tend to have a really haughty sense of humor. Trasnians are more easygoing; not so stuck up. It is neigh-impossible to make a than laugh.

Here in Allhallow one of our major cultural figures is an entertainer called Benni Hil.
Every year at the Unity Games, held in the Velodrome of our beautiful capital Mountclare, it is traditional for Benni to do a victory lap, while being chased by a phalanx of girls from the Swimsuit Corps, as the national anthem is played.
Many visitors to our country have stated that it is the funniest thing they have ever seen. Could anyone explain why?

The Discordian Cabal

The Discordian Cabal knows nothing of seriousness. We consider everything to be a joke, from our government to our economy to our culture. Politics exist for the sole purpose of making political jokes.

As long as nobody takes what we do too seriously, the country functions smoothly. Which is to say, of course, that complete madness and lunacy reign supreme, just the way we like it.

(Actually, a fair number of the Discordian Cabal takes gourmet cuisine seriously, but not in an irritating way)
