What do the UN resolutions even mean? do they effect the level of the political/economic/social aspects of my nations or do resolutions exists to the extent that they are meant to add layers to the simulator, but dont effect my nations "stats" ? the faq says that you can't ignore un resolutions, but i looked and there are hundreds of them, i cant imagine all the nations are effected by those and retain individuality and a separate identity. holla back at me. thank you

i looked and there are hundreds of them, i cant imagine all the nations are effected by those and retain individuality and a separate identity. When a Resolution is passed, the stats of all member nations change, depending on what the category is. Previously passed Resolutions are not retroactively applied, however. That level of compliance comes about via roleplaying.

(1) They definitely affect the nation's states, but they won't suddenly transform a nation from (say) liberal to conservative or vice versa.

(2) Remember, a lot of the solutions are either repealed or repeals of previous resolutions.

(3) Finally, when RPing you may wind up stepping over the line. Just look at Guantanamo Bay and the other IRL examples!
