how can i get my population to incress?
should I join the UN? - I like having all my country totaly under "my" control and joining the un would hurt that, but if joining would incress my population or just give me more , game stuff to do?

The only thing which will increase your population is patience. It will steadily increase as time progresses, and is unaffected by issues, UN decisions, or UN membership.

Not quite accurate. It increases by 1 million a day the first 5 days, then goes up to 2 million/day for 5 days, then maybe 3-4 million for a few days, and 5-8 million/day after that.

There is no way to increase your population, it will increase automatically on its own over time.

Joining the UN will not help.
