On the sunset calculator, my black market is 62.5% which is way too high, and i want it lowered, but i dont know how because the options i choose on the issues dont make it lower. I changed my options, then it went up even further and the GDP decreased.
1. How to i decrease the black market?

2. How do i increase my GDP?

Thanks to everyone that can help. :)

The Sunset calculator is not an official NS resource. I don't know how it calculates some of the things it does, but I don't think "black market" is something set by the NS game engine.

Choosing issue options to privatize and subsidize industry, and rejecting the demands of workers and environmentalists, is always a good boost for your economy. However, if you don't want your environment to spoil, or your nation to turn into a corporate dominion as a result, you should probably find a happy balance between protecting business interests and protecting workers and the environment.

Also, your finances are magnified by nation age and population, so the decisions that you make have a greater affect as your nation grows.

Kenny's right about it being unofficial, and that there is no "black market" variable in the NS XML feed. That being said...

There's an explination for the Black Market at the bottom of the Sunset page. Probably the easiest way to reduce that figure is to lower taxes. In fact, I believe that the only way to have a 0% Black Market is to also have 0% taxes (100% probably eliminates it too, since there's no money to spend on th, but I don't exactly remember how Sunset programed it, way back when.

Edit: From Sunset's page:Note on Black Market
The black market sector indicates areas where the government does not allocate enough tax money to desired areas for the current tax rate. To compensate for this the people take a percentage of the economy into a semi-legal grey sector where they can maintain the economic growth they currently enjoy. This includes things like trading services, bartering, or under the table jobs. Part of this economic sector is recovered by Law and Order spending which represents Revenue the most glorious hack hauling your ass off to jail and taking your stuff for tax evasion. The clunky grammar at the end is his, not mine.
