Regional Policies

hey,

i'm wondering is there a possiblility of setting up regional policies that will affect the nations within the region like that of United Nation, though UN is on a wider scale.

i would believe that it would increase the partcipation of players with the game as they will have more interaction with the region they are in, rather then just chatting about recruitments or goin to war.

Setting up regional policies is another thing that can be roleplayed, on regional off-site forums. I doubt this suggestion would get very far with the admins, either.

Yes, what they said. Create laws and policies with the regional forum, and enforce them with ejection. Or, as has been done in some regions "suspension", where a nation is ejected, and banned until it follows regional policies.

i do know that this game is alot of roleplaying. However, roleplaying is roleplaying. At the end of the day, RP only affects the players, it doesnt affect the nations as Untied Nation resolution would!

isnt this kind of gameplay abit shallow? its not in-depth. I do hope that that the mods can bring this up to approriate people to help to make this a better game!

and gamers stop saying that the gamecoders wouldnt do this do that or about the bandwidth etc. Because if it is true, then this game will forever remain constant and boring as time goes. This game will lose even more gamers than present turnover.

THINGS HAVE TO BE DONE!

Feel free to elaborate on what sort of policies you had in mind, as right now you've given us pretty much nothing. I think this idea has potential, but it needs to be seriously fleshed out before there's anything to take to the admins. Maybe after you've played the game for more than a week, you'll have a better picture to base your ideas on.

Thanks for the advice. We'll give it all appropriate consideration. Word of advice, though - ideas carry more weight than histrionics.

i'm hoping that a region has a certain power of influencing its nations for example whether nations are more capitalist inclined or whether is the region has to be agressive in Education spending of the nations. something like that.

Maybe can make this by voting of the issues by nations of the region. For example, every nation has their daily issues right? y not come up with, or reuse some, issues and make its like a weekly (or monthly is its too intentive for the admin side of the game) region issues where nations of the regions can vote to affect every nation of the regions. Maybe this voting powers can be affected by the influence the nation have in the region.

Or on a simpler side, this can be set by the founder or its delegate.

Some where along this line! =D

I feel that through this, nations will have more sense of belonging to the region other than just war and recruitments.

Hoping that players can contribute to make the game a more interactive one! thanks! =D
