Founder ceased to exist

It appears the founding nation of our fabulous region has, 'kicked the bucket'.
Who gets the magnificent founding 'powers' when that happens?

No-one.

If a founder expires and you really need one you can re-found the Region

1 - you (the UN delegate that is) password-protect the Region so no-one else can come in
If no-one can get into the Regional Control then you just go on to step 2 and hope no-one moves in to the region.
2 - you all leave the Region and wait for it to be deleted (cos it's empty)
3 - once it's been deleted you can then re-found it just as you would create any region
4 - everybody moves back in.

The ban on the re-use of names doesn't apply to regions, just to nations.

AFAIK, we haven't needed our founder to do anything for our region. We're a really small one and we just mind our own affairs so we're fairly 'invisible' to the rest of the NS-universe. Due the to fact it's this small, there's only one UN-member too, meaning we can't get a UN delegate appointed either.
Anyway, I'll post a message on the 'Civil Headquarters' message board and see what the other nations think about the current state of affairs.
If I understand correctly, the region will delete upon update if there are no nations present anymore.

Asylum Manager is right. I've had nations in several founderless regions, and only one has been invaded, and only because the region had about 100 members. small and medium regions, that don't have names like "0000000" or "Pacific", are pretty much guaranteed safety though inconspicuity.

Many of them just go to Delegate rule and stay that way, like Forest. (actually, Forest was refounded, but for a few years, it survived under delegate rule).
