nope, there is a sub-ruling that you can forgo the gun smileys if you use an ugly color and a funny looking font, and don't spell correctly.

still another sub-ruling says that if you declare war on everyone but don't use the other animated smileys then you automatically win the war, however any use of :sniper::mp5::gundge: or :upyours: and you are figuratively and literally a loser.
