I'm trying to understand how this game is played.
I'm playing Cybernations during the last month and have found the game intriguing and challenging. There, I rule a nation, and try to take care of its economy, military matters, population's happiness etc. In one of Cybernations' forums I met some guy who told me to come and start playing nationstates. So, I came... I'm playing during the last 2 weeks, and haven't found anything interesting in the game, although I read all the how-to-play guides.

I probably need some help on how to start. Till now, I've joined a region (something communist), took place on some issues and that's all.

Any help would be appreciated. In exchange, if you join Cybernations I can offer you all the help and advice u need to cope with all the dangers (you see, there are lots of dangers).

In cybernations my Ruler name is: grouchomarx, while here it is: RNU

NS is all about II (Int. Incidents. or.. the NS forum if your not into war) it's all role-play. For example: my nation is a fictional Chechen-Turkish republic born out of the fall of the Russian Federation after some massive regional, almost global war sometime after 2020. The landmass is all warped, Annatolia and the Caucasus remain but I edited the rest of my landscape to make it awesome and a little bigger than the US and maybe Canada too.

Currently a colony of mine in the (made up) continent of Arterus has come under attack from the Kraven Corporation (doomsday-ish nazi type nation bent on world domination) and 3 of its buddies all part of a larger war to take over the United Federation of Asian States (Southeast Asia <- the player).

So start a thread or join one in II. Start modestly (very modestly is better) and in you'll be swallowed right up by the community and in time a powerful nation. (depending on how you role play it of course). I'd give Clandonia Prime as an example but with the going joke of it being a country of hicks it's best I not :P
