so i made my nation today, got my first issue which was whether voting should be mandatory or not, i said voting should be up to the individual, and when it went through parliament my nation description says Voting is compulsory.

am i missing something? if issues are the only way to 'play' your country, and i can't even do that, what CAN i do?

If it gives something other than what you picked, i'd check your Web Accellerator. You might have one which is making that happen, turn it off for www.nationstates.net

no web accelerator - just using firefox. guess we'l see how my next one goes...
