Hey guys. I was just curious about something. Say I wanted to change the name of my nation to that of a real world country...well techincally not a country; Chechnya, either in english or native pronunciation.. would this be acceptable?

Obviously this would all be in context, I'm not asking for an actual name change nor do I think its possible (right?)

I was just thinking that IC wise it doesnt make too much sense to name my nation which is based off Chechnya on a city named by Russians several hundred years ago which literally means "terrible" in Russian. I'd probably change it to The Republic of Nohchicho, Chechnya,... Waynakh, Kavkas etc etc etc.

Wouldn't be an issue would it?

-Groz

edit: is it possible to have my nation's name changed to Vai Nakh?

Nation names cannot be changed. It breaks things. Sorry.

If your nation name is Groznyj, but you want roleplayers to call you Chechnya, that's not against the rules. Confusing, useless, and not likely to be followed, but not illegal. You can call yourself Ethel for all we care.

Nation names cannot be changed. If you really want a new name, create a new nation, and use that. (You can use your old nation's stats, I think; at least, I've seen some people do that.)

EDIT: Beaten to it, too.
