The word(s) of the day are caveat emptor - in the past some nations have been hocked off which had a history of malefaction, and that history does not go away when you receive it, because we don't know that it's happened. This means, for example, that a minor offense may have major consequences if our investigations show that your nation was involved in something heinous in the past.

Nonetheless, it's not actually against the rules; but rather like buying used cars, there's a risk you have to take in doing so.

Is there any way to discover if a nation you want to aquire (or have aquired) is a "criminal" nation?

Not as such, no. We simply don't have the time to do the number of lookups that would result if we answered such requests. Just don't break the rules, and you should be fine, regardless of history.

I have only offered nations that have little to no history, they have been sitting inactive for awhile and that's all they've been doing. I was hoping they could do more if someone else wanted them. I've gotten a few nations off from the jolt forums before and haven't had any problems, my oldest one that still exists is almost at 3 billion :)

Before I decide on this, I would like to know if there are any rule violations against these nations.

there are no rule violations against these nations, they've just been left to grow in various regions .. I used the nation of Z5 to recruit for its current region but that was over two weeks ago other than that it has not been used .. I have a few other nations if you're not interested in Z5 (again they were created and moved into regions but not used beyond that)

I would like Z5 if it is still available

i'm not sure who got Z5, but from checking the last activity of the nation, someone else has already gotten it .. if your interested in another nation, the nations of frozen tomato and traveling mice are up for adoption, but you'll have to post on here if you want them as I haven't gotten around to changing the passwords to "free" yet

I have already adopted Traveling Mice, just to save someoen the trouble of trying to get it.
