Ok so i've proven the game doesn't blow up when someone passes 9999 like some old RPG. So who else has 10 billion or more? I'm just wondering cause i was 7th in the world last time i checked, so i can't be the first with over 10 billion. Making people is the only thing my nation is good at apparently, i'm never on the top 10 for anything else :P

According to NSDossier (http://nsdossier.texasregion.net/main.aspx), there are nine such nations, with a tenth, Architeuthis, on the verge of the 10 billion mark. You are still #7: Praetor (10,528,000,000)
West Siders (10,308,000,000)
Uranium (10,103,000,000)
All Peoples (10,095,000,000)
Prettyfull butterflies (10,065,000,000)
Korinekia (10,060,000,000)
Kie (10,046,000,000)
Kyupaa (10,041,000,000)
Sketch (10,035,000,000)

Amusingly, Last Hope, the oldest extant nation, "only" has 9.58 billion.

Silly population bug.

Well, there are issues that can do the one child policy and legalise abortions and things like that...unless they somehow don't affect population, though I would think they would.

issues cannot affect the growth of a nation, they just grow weirdly sometimes, not at the same rates, I had soem puppets which were made after this nation but then became bigger than it, and now it is about the same as the other but still slightly smaller. I think if you answer the issues more often maybe, then it grows faster, as I have started to just dismiss issues as I have at long last once again become a psychotic dictatorship, and since, my population has been growing slower...

Issues or frequency of voting on issues don't affect population growth, in fact nothing the player does can change it. The the rate your population grows changes as you get bigger.

and omg Plumbers Union only has 9.563 billion

I'm only at 2.7+ billion. By the time I reach 10 billion, I'll be an old geezer.

Yeah, I've been on since October 2003 and have 7.865 billion, and I don't answer issues much any more.
