Are you alowed to have allies for your nation? And how do you start a war?

Yes you can, it's all RP-ed in the International Incidents though.

What about allies? Is that considered international incident?

You can have allies in a game sense, but there's no binding contracts. Regions construct alliances for mutual protection and benefit.

The alliances in this game are exactly like real-life; fragile and problematic.

Yeah, so you just get people to join your region, and they are basicly considerd your allies?

Technically i guess, but i consider them more like NS Friends than allies :)

Well, that is pretty cool, if anyone wants to be part of my union, look for the location: Atlantic Coastal Union.

Just another note. There are alliances that you can join, look through the International Incidents section. Although, if you wan't to learn how to RP a war, some older nations would be glad to help you by putting you through war-games of some sort. But i'm not really in a point to do a wargame right now. Maybe someone else can help you with that.

As said by Erastide, there are alliances between regions. These are mainly formed to promise their support in the case that a region gets invaded (other nations come into the region and seize the UN Delegacy), and their is no founder of the region to kick them out.
