My Map- Your Opinion

I'm in a twist- I can't decide whether to change my nation over to a custom map or to keep the RL nations and Geography. I like using the historical stuff, and the maps, but using a custom map would mean I could claim resources and neighbors. So, tell what you think I should do, and if your nation uses RL geography (i.e., controls Africa, etc.) or has a custom map.

I use custom maps for all my nations, and I like it quite a bit. I get to invent names and culture, plus it makes my nation completely unique.
I agree with Keldafax.
Too many nations settle for a RL map. Be creative.:)

I have more fun with custom maps...
Its better to make a custom map, that way you have more freedom with your territory.

MSpaint. I found a map of the real Italian Empire and added a few territories.

I used a custom map for all my nation.
Although it is up to you if you want to make a custom or use the RL counterpart.
Custom maps give you a lot more freedom, plus you can make the geography any way you want. It's great.

I use a RL map, and change the cities and geography a bit so I have the luxury of not having to use alot of Paint/Photoshop, but I have the leeway to create resources/neighbours.

i prefer custom maps. however I don't have decent equipment for making one, so for this moment, swilatia has no map.

Hello other nations.
You have no doubt, never heard of me, and are not likely to
do so.
How ever, On the subject of map making I am faily expirenced.
The first thing you need to do is astablish your scale. How many inches/ centimeters equal one mile/Km.
Than list what all the other lines, bars, dashes and dots mean.
Other than that you've got a great map I would like to see
topography and colors. But hay it's your country.
Do what you like.
