Question about nation economy.
How do I reduce my nations trade deficit? Mine has been enormous for over 6 months

I am thinking that you need to create more goods to export. Also, disallowing certain products MUST lower it me thinks because you have less products that need to come in.
Anyways, I want to know WHY you want to lower your trade deficit? It can cause harm to your entire economy if you try to fix it quickly.
I had a $500 billion trade surplus once and my economy wasn't ruined. It's possible.
The issue about tariffs... I forgot which answer it was, but one of them made my deficit turn into a surplus with no negative impact on my economy.

That figure is a comparison to the rest of your region. I'm not exactly sure what it is comparing.

I don't know what to tell you about your national trade deficit.
I am curious to know where everyone finds these neat sites full of info about our nations. Like the link to the one posted in the first post. Is there some kind of an archive of links? If there is, where do I find it?

These are financial calculators of macroeconomics theories. It will give a simplified view of the mathematics involved in running a Nation. It is based on the output of your nation's Xml feed. Due to the varied theories of macroeconomics, flaws and assumed values of these calculators, the data varies. To the best of my knowledge these calculators are completely made up and hold no real value but are none-the-less interesting.

This is the Xml feed that the calculators use to determine your financial statistics. It is still undetermined what the percentages stand for, but the players that have created the calculators have guessed that it is in reference to budget planning. If you are unsatisfied with the calculators here is the source for yourself.
