How to oust a Founder?

Fellow Nationstates players. We have a problem in our region: the Founder is semi-inactive, never posts, and we all want him out. I am the UN delegate, he's not in the UN. Every nation in the region, barring none, wants the Founder out. However, as he's disabled the UN delegate's powers, there seems to be nothing we can do!

Can we get our useless founder out? It seems odd that democracy can oust a UN delegate but not a founder. Please help!

I don't think there's any way you can oust the founder. At the very least, I don't think you can take founder's powers from him.

The only thing I'd suggest is to have someone found a new region and have everyone else in your region go to this new region. If the founder ever goes inactive, the old region will die off without anyone in it.

Founders are all-powerful in a region. They can do pretty much whatever they want. Even ejecting a Founder from the region does not mean that the Founder cannot access regional control. There is no way to get rid of a Founder except by starting a new region and becoming a Founder yourself.

There is nothing you can do but wait for him to CTE or make your own region.

As the founder has barred access to the Delegate, there's not a single thing you can do to take the original region except hope the founder ceases to exist and then you could refound.

As has been suggested, creating another region, perhaps with "new" or some other additional title would allow you more control. Otherwise, if someone creates a region, it's theirs as long as they want to play with it.

Just to clarify, a region will exist as long as its founder does. If the founder is inactivated, what happens if others in the region are still active?

You CAN'T oust the founder PERMANENTLY from the region. You can throw him out, and even ban him, but he still has access to regional control and therefore can UN-ban himself and get back in if he so desires.
