...other than pure sadistic pleasure.

because couldnt they just come back at you with another bigger more powerful region?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I'm new.

The benefit is debatable. I'd say it's just for the pure sadistic pleasure.

...and Goofball, I don't want to know how you plan to deflower a nation, much less several of them. :p

So what do you do. Invade it, get rid of people, make it a ghost town? Or like invade get rid of people and bring in a few of your own and ally it with the old one?

In my experience with invaders (a limited one, granted) it is for pleasure. Some people do it for attention, others because they don't like the region they are invading (revenge), others because it makes them feel powerful.
There is a difference between invaders and imperialists. The imperialists actually stay in the region, build it up and protect it. Invaders take the UN delegacy for a few days, kick out nations they don't like and move on.

Imperialists sounds better then. because I really don't see the point because then they will just create a new region with the same people. Imperialists sounds good because then your message will be spread throughout the game.

OK, let say someone takes over in my region and kicks me out. In which region will I belong to? Can I be kicked out from every region and just hang in the air?

When you get booted from a region, you automatically wind up in the Rejected Realms.

Can I get booted from the Rejected Realms? What happens if I am booted from there? I haven't seen anything in the FAQ about them. Is it possible to take over the Rejected Realms? Do the Rejected Realms have any special rules?

No.
Nothing.
Not needed.
Yes.
Yes.

You cannot get booted from The Rejected Realms. I'm sure it's possible to take it over, but it has a lot of nations to defend it. The current delegate, Kandarin, has been in charge for over 800 days, despite various attempts to unseat him. And if he DID get replaced, you couldn't boot him or his supporters, and they'd probably retake the region.

It seemed to me I were in the Rejected Realms, but my Rejected Realms had only 26 member, so I looked up Kandarin, which seems to be in a completely different Rejected Realms. How is this possible?
Is this just some playing around with the The or is here something deeper knowledge hidden from the eyes of the clueless uninitiated?

There are a few "copycat" regions. Often people mistake "Rejected Realms" for "The Rejected Realms".
