Dear Mods,
This is a general (but quite important) "how the hell do I do this" thread. You see I have discovered a program that lets users create maps from scratch using a wide variety of choices depending on this persons imagination or lack thereof. But my main concern today was that I need someone to tell me how
to make the KB of an image (gif or whatever) with a KB of 103.6 go down to 100.0... I tried doing the common sense thing and cropping the image, but it doesn't do anything. So I need someone to help me with this.
Oh, and when it's a finished product, I think I found a lucrative way to RP war/battles/logistics etc.
It'll be fun!

I am not a mod, but you could try outputing the file at a lower quality. This is best accomplished with a image editor such as adobe photoshop, macromedia fireworks, gnu image manipulation program and maybe paint shop pro. GIMP is free and it contains plenty of features. You may lose some details with exporting it at a lesser quality, but you could get it under 100k.
