you would want to start off by making an article about your country.

I myself am in need of help in creating an article. I can't figure it out on NS wiki either. Any chance any of you guys on here could give me a link to the page where I just plug everything in and press "accept?"

The point of NSwiki is to have encyclopedia articles: writing. So go to ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/YOURNATIONNAME (replace YOURNATIONNAME with your nation name) and select "start an article with this title". Then, write about your nation! It's government, its history, its politics, its economy, whatever! Learn about wiki syntax at NSwiki:Help on the wiki. Learn how to use an infobox at NSwiki:Info boxes.

A suggestion.... Write your article using a text editor. Don't try drafting it from scratch on NSWiki. Get your words in shape, then go to NSWiki and cut-and-paste and do your formatting. It's much less frustrating and time-consuming that way, especially if NSWiki is suffering from its occasional database errors.

Actually you can just use your RMB to spell check, and use the NSWiki's nation template for formatting.

I'm doing an article about a conflict and war, not a nation. So that really doesn't help...

So go to ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/NAMEOFPAGE and do essentially the same thing, except describe the conflict/war/whatever.

Actually, I'm mistaken, it's only an infobox template. But you can find it here:

As it says on the Main Page, New users, please start at Nation and Region Creation (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/NSwiki:Info_boxes) to create your first nation page. That will take you to a link to this instruction page (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/NationName), which gives a very detailed step-by-step method of how to create your first nation page. If you follow those instructions exactly, you'll have a good base for your new page.

Thrashia, there isn't a page where you can simply dump in your data and press 'accept'. That's not how wikis work. You'll need to read what's already there first, plus look carefully over the various help (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/NSwiki:Help) pages, before doing major articles.

Finally, remember please that NSwiki is a third-party site and not officially affiliated with NationStates in any way. This isn't your best source for informatoin. If you have questions, use NSwiki help and resources as listed on the NSwiki front page.
