Forgive me for noticing but this doesn't seem much like a league of dictatorships.

I admit it too. When we were founded I decied what was right and we did it. But with so many nations most of them want some voice in the government if you visit our website at

and read our government postions I STILL have the most power. I can hold an overall veto and I can NEVER be replaced or impeached. So yeah over the last two months some democacy has wiggled its way in LoD but we still represent the same thing. A Haven for dictatorships. :cool:

Dear Dictatorial Friends,

Are you sick of other nations trying to enforce their will on you through the UN? Do you know for certain that you know what's best for your people and don't need interference from outside, no matter how well meaning? Are you sick of nations with no idea of your economic situation trying to tell you how to run your Industry?

Then the LEAGUE OF DICTATORSHIPS might be just the region you are looking for!

We're a region of nations of many different forms of government, all united in the belief that we know what's best for our people and that the current move for 'democracy', no matter what the local conditions, has gone too far.

We're one of the largest player created regions in the game. We have our own website, our own discussion forum and many governmental positions if you want to get more involved in regional politics. We also have an active army if the military side of Nationstates is what interests you. (This is an area where we're at an advantage to the 'feeder' regions, most of which are just too big to be able to get the vast majority of nations involved). We're a friendly region always happy to help new players get what they're looking for from the game. But we're also happy to include leaders who just want to use us as a supportive haven while they get on with the important business of nationbuilding.
