Burel's Nation Flag
Recent global cultural changes are causing governments to want a new symbol to represent their nation. A prime example is our nation of Burel in the Midwest EUW. Previously Burel had adopted the flag from the old world country of Luxembourg. However after creating a region with allied nations our country has decided to create a new flag representing the region as well as our old traditional flag. Changes have come in the form of the tone of the colors.
The age we live in is not always cheerful therefore the colors have been toned down to show a more serious side to our nation. Also five stars have been added to represent the five countries in our region, the wonderful Midwest EUW. We decided to keep them the same size to show the equal importance of each nation in the region, *cough*, although without Burel the Midwest EUW would be nothing. *cough* Below is the old, and new flag.
Any press questions are welcome.

Congratulations on your new flag I hope it suits your nation and your people better than the last! I love flags myself and I have come to appreciate them in all their forms and symbolism. Do the colors mean anything in particular? I know the stars are the original founders of your region, but I'd like to hear more if you have more to tell. My flag is one of my own creation that I chose after a long time of messing around in Paint. :D

Yes...uh Qlestine is it?
I am actually surprised you do not know that
"Sir, that reporter is from a foreign country"
Oh, right
Well the red is in memory of the blood spilt by our people in the fight to gain our own land many years ago, and today it more commonly represents our military.
The white represents peace and today, our government.
And the blue represents infinity, ask a philosopher and hell talk for hours, but it just is a represenative of the many paths our nation may take.
Next question.
Good news.
Four out of the five nations in our region, including Burel, have adopted a new flag. That national flag of Watunga has been changed dramatically adding a large tree in the center.
Nyletak, however has not yet changed it's flag. We are trying to communicate with them but we are having issues.
Let us hope nothing is wrong.

Well hot damn! I did remember correctly! :D Even after all this time, it still looks great on yeah! ;)
@ Burel
I wanted to ask what your region is about, it says Private Region, which is cool but I was wondering if it was just a collection of your puppets or maybe a collection of your RL friends?
Well it is actually me, my dad, my mom, and two of my friends.
Slowly we are getting more people to join the game.
Soon we will also create a puppet for the entire region to be like a UN type of thing where we will choose to only get one issue a week or so and we will as a group decide on that issue.
And regarding out fact book entry we are working on that ;)

Congrats Burel. I also pride myself in flags. I make up my own, or use others that I see. I also like to know of the symbolagy of flags.

Red=To remember the blood spilled during the War of Freedom
White=Purity
Seven Stars=The Provinces
Five (Five pointed stars, a pentagon, and a decagon divided into five pieces that are pentagons)= Original amount of provinces
That is a very nice flag. I like the complexity of the symbolism but the simple design. Im currently designing a totally original flag, but I have rouble as I don't like things that I don't think are perfect so it takes me a while.
