I couldnt see where else to put this, so I plonked it here...

My problem is that I am looking for anyone who is famed or at least very good at making things like currency, flags, stamps, maps etc in their region, soi that they can give me advice, tips and pointers, eg whats the best way, waht prgram to use and other such tidbits? The only one I know is the Post-Master Colonel in The East Pacific, and he hasnt looged on for over a month...

Well, you could try the folks at the International Democratic Union (http://s10.invisionfree.com/IDU/index.php?act=idx) forum. Sober Thought, Stolidia/Ausserland, and a few other people (including me) do some graphics work. Guests can post in at least the flag forum, you could ask for help there.
