Haerodonia is a large semi-socialist nation, with a government controlled industry and lack of religious affiliation (most are atheist or agnostic; religious freedom is legal but often frowned upon.) However, we are highly moralistic and rather conservative/nationalistic in most other areas, such as welfare and immigration. Haerodonia is looking for an active region with not too many nations, and leaders would enjoy debating about current issues, religion and philosophy.

Anyone interested?

(PS. Sorry if this isn't meant to go here, but after having a quick look I couldn't find anything specifically prohibiting it, and this seemed the most sensible place. If not, can mods please move/delete this thread accordingly.)

With only 5 nations at this current moment, we are trying to build up a strong amount of numbers. We look for nations who are commited to us, and dont forget about their nation. We are highly sociable, and are a perfect place to have your nation. We will see you with open arms and will try to help you if you have any problems with the game.

If you're looking for someplace active and established, perhaps you'd like to give Atlantian oceania a try. We've a fluent off-site forum as well, and if you don't like it you can always go elsewhere :)

Well, as always, I like to promote Wysteria.

We have an active community of 300+ nations, an active forum, some excellent maps, a newspaper (that anyone can create articles for), several NS economic leaders, etc. The only thing we don't participate in is invading and defending.

I wish I could say our region Feudal Japan is the best for you, but I don't think our theme is up your alley despite our active forums. However, based on your description I would recommend The New Meritocracy, since it typically offers the very height of debate on the subjects you mention. Less than a hundred nations there at the moment. Otherwise, I second the Wysteria nomination.

Come to Azathoth, named for the center of the Universe. Despite the utter chaos and entropy that wipe out anything that comes remotely close to our namesake, i feel we're pretty cool.

i don't know where the only one other person here is going with his country, but i find the idea of a region full of like-minded states, with massive civil rights, and (if i can do it) el zilcho in the ways of political freedom.
