I'm starting a new region and i wanted some suggestions as to what the ministers should be. Besides like president, vp, general, recruiter, besides that, what are some positions you think would be useful for running the government. Please post you opinions, i'd like to get my region and its (hopefully) creative ministrys up as soon as possible.

how's it in the wrong forum? its under Anything and everything. I'm pretty sure everything falls under that category, so just answer the question.

And now you will realize why i did not put it here. NO ONE IS HERE! I hate to be rude, but there is a method to my madness, i did not just post this in the first random spot i found. i put it where people would answer it, becasue i want it to be answered. So, i hate to say it, but, this was a really jerky thing to do but i know you won't see this so there is no point in asking you to move it back. I might as well just curse up a storm, no ones gonna see this.

I might as well just curse up a storm, no ones gonna see this. That would be unwise. While you're waiting, why don't you read this (http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/patient)?

Some standard gameplay Minister positions:

1. Prime Minister
2. Minister of Foreign Affairs
3. Minister of Internal Affairs
4. Minister of Defense
5. Minister of Games/Culture/OOC stuff
6. Minister of Justice

You'll find those, or some version of them, in most of the large regions.

What I was referring too was the fact that there are a total 4 threads in this whole section that are not sticky's (ones been deleted), and that none of those threads are labeled with the 'popular' icon. Nor do any of them exceed 8 posts (the 8 post one being MINE) You'll also notice I didn't curse up a storm because I had a little apreciation for your 'volunteer efforts', and i'm perfectly aware of the definition of patience. But now i'm dissapointed with the Moderators (not all mods in general, just a few i've noticed, most of them are good at their jobs) short tempers and their tendancy of jumping too connclusions. And, anyways, two posts in 24 hours is a little under the curve.

To the people that did respond, thank you for your input, you've been a great help.

Nah... the last 20 or so pages are null posts. You know, the ones from 1970 ;)

Well, I can't see these 200 posts, on my screen there are only two now.
Mine and "Scorinators" by Az-cz. At the bottom of the page, under display options it reads:
Display Options
Showing threads 1 to 2 of 2
According to Jolt, there are only 2 threads here. So even if there are other ones, I can't see them wich means other players probably can't see them, wich means their not relevant.

Jolt defaults to only showing threads that were active in the last 24 hours. Gameplay IS relatively low activity, so you're not going to see as many threads, and some of them, just by their nature, will only have a few posts.

Anyone familiar with this type of forum can see older posts if they want to, so they are relevant.

Yes, people can see them if they want too. Not many people make a habit of searching the old posts to see if anything good popped up while they were gone. So, for the most part, if the thread isn't immediatly visible, no one (or very, very few people) will look at it. And you know that as much as I do.

Plus, I feel like i'm being ganged up on by the mods. It's very discomforting.

Just for the record, several non-mods, myself included, are also "ganging up" on you. :p Most people probably don't bother to see the threads older than 24 hours, but anything that's been posted to in the last 24 hours is still visible. People do look at those threads.

Actually, if i'm not mistaken, you are the only "non-mod" that is here posting things other than answers to my question.

Well then, my bad. some of the other people here gave me the impression they were mods. And not only here, there were several instences elsewhere.
Anyhow. I'm done with this thread, I got what I wanted.

Those that are Mods have images next to their name. Regular players can't get these avatars on Jolt.

In the future? Look at the works under the user name. If it says "NationStates Forum Moderator/Game Moderator/Moderator Team/Administrator", you're dealing with someone who has authority.

See, call to power made me think he was a mod because not 30 sec after he said "wrong forum" i was moved. So either he got ahold of a mod in an inhuman amount of time and said mod moved my thread in an inhuman amount of time, or he was i mod. that was my thinking earlier.

Yes, well...

I myself prefer secretary to minister whenever possible, because in my mind, minister refers to religion, and religion and gov't don't mix well in my mind.
